Lil' Ray

Just home from my first visit - definitely won't be my last! Yummy food, fabulous service, delightful surroundings. The guys coudn't have been friendlier & their bread is absolutely divine. I can't wait to return - I'm afraid they'll soon grow tired of me.

This place is a local delight. One of Blackburn's best kept secrets, and it's time for everyone to know about this lovely place

Super friendly team and are very welcoming of pets! They take my order from the doorway as I have my dog with me, then bring her a cookie whilst I sip my latte. Have a range of ready meals available as well which are delish.

Cute little cafe with a shaded seating areas out the front and at the back. Rating is due to service. The Barista was warm and friendly, but got a non-welcoming vibe from the person serving/taking orders.

I ordered a simple large takeaway latte and a slice of banana bread (not toasted), but ended up getting my order after the two orders that were behind me. My coffee wasn’t even made until I went to check.
First impressions count so I won’t be headed back again.

Really enjoyed my visit to Lil' Ray - friendly staff, room for my pram, simple but very tasty food and great coffee. Love a takeaway pre-prepared dinner, too! A local gem.

We love Lil’ Ray! Their take home meals are convenient and delicious and I know I’m giving my family healthy and fresh food when need something quick. David and Nathan and all their staff are lovely and the coffee is great. They are also in an excellent location for people with kids as there is a playground just opposite.

Lil Ray has been such a wonderful addition to the local community. The coffee & food is excellent but it is really the service that makes it such a great cafe. Nathan & David have put their heart and soul into Lil Ray and it shows!

Still the best sausage rolls ever! The freshly baked muffins were great this morning as usual. So nice to have them baked on the premises, we had to have two

David responded to my request promptly and delivered excellent quality catering. Will be using Lil' Ray's services again.

We used Lil' Ray for in-house catering for 19 people. Planning and organisation was a breeze and they were accomodating with changes to menu, including vegetarian and dietary requirements. Execution of the event was streamlined, timely and neat and tidy in the kitchen leaving us with minimal cleaning up post function.
Would recommend them for any catering service but have also visited their cafe for coffee and the take-away pies are recommended.

Lil'Ray has been providing breakfast catering for our film shoot for the past 3 weeks, and it's been such a pleasure working with them. We had many a last minute change of time or numbers, and David has always managed to provide delicious and fresh food for our crew. Thank you David and everyone at Lil'Ray! Highly recommended

Highly recommend their catering. They brought everything to use in our kitchen. The table was set with such care with their cutlery, crockery and glassware. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. They left the kitchen like they had never been there, even washed our special glasses used for two of the courses. Such nice guys and so easy to deal with.

Fabulous friendly cafe. Coffee always A+. Take home meals are really delicious. Great grazing boxes as well.

Had the bacon and egg on brioche bun today which was really delicious. The cappucino is great too.

Just started coming here. The vegan chai almond latte is to die for! Delicious!
And their salads are super fresh and yummy.
And such friendly, welcoming guys.
Will be coming here a lot!
