Watched a performance of Legally Blonde the musical. Fantastic! Same standard as Melbourne performances, very entertaining, highly recommend

Friendly staff, great shows. First theatre I've been to that actually has a sufficient amount of women's toilets!

Great place, but I was very disappointed in the magic and illusions. There was nothing spectacular about this show.

Have had the pleasure of attending a number of outstanding shows at Lighthouse Theatre and it is an amazing venue. There’s not a bad seat in the house! Great views from everywhere and the new sound system provides great sound regardless of where you are sitting.

I have also had the privilege of putting on shows here for a number of years and the staff and crew are always happy and helpful and facilitate an excellent production.
The facilities are outstanding.
I can’t wait for our next production here!

Every single time I’ve gone there I’ve had an awesome experience. Comfortable seats even for a big guy like me and the shows are always fun and entertaining.

Unfortunately we didn't see our full show only about 30 minutes as a person in audience suffered a heart attack. Up till then things were good.

Very cool looking theatre, heritage listed & restored to signify the beauty of the building.
Comfortable & pre-show drinks are a must. Lovely to sit at the windows & enjoy the night-life & a chat before heading through to enjoy your show. So many great acts & shows to choose from. This month we will see 13 Story Treehouse & Cosentino Yay

A cute lil proscenium arch theatre by the sea. Great staff, nice seats. A good spot to see a show.

Went to see Pete the sheep with my nephew. Kids were given a free biscuit and juice. Much appreciated

Despite online booking problems, along with delays in collection and payment, the venue was brilliant and hosted the Traveling Wilburys magnificently!

Big enough venue while still being able to see stage clearly. Went for school music concerts and very happy.

Went to see "Les Miserables" with my disabled daughter for the Saturday matinee. The cost was pleasantly affordable (the pension only goes so far and this was do-able). Thank you.

Parking was a couple of hundred metres down the road, behind shops. There was plenty of space here and as it was after 12 midday Saturday there was no cost involved. Access to it by car and foot was easy.

The front of house staff were very friendly and accommodating. "Thank you so much" to the door usher for the ear plugs given to us for my daughter who started freaking out at the entry door. My daughter did settle down rapidly and was utterly enthralled by the show.

The toilets were very clean with plenty of toilet paper. It was my mistake not to go into the disabled toilet though as the electric hand dryer is one of those explosive roaring jet engine types that caused my daughter to panic when someone used them and stay locked in her cubicle with her hands over her ears until I gained external assess to help her regain her composure. A quieter model wouldn't go astray I think.

The theatre auditorium was great. Good and comfortable seats. We could see everything from our seats (far left, against the wall, row M). The sound dropped out occasionally but that could be technician expertise, error or something technical so won't diss them on that - mistakes and faults can and do happen. The stage lighting was amazing and the scene transitions were masterfully executed.

The only really universal issue I found was that the entry to doorway 3 required us to navigate straight through a standing crowd by the 'snack bar'. This is not just a disability issue but also simply one of logistics, you have moving people trying to go 'through' stationary people waiting in line, examining choices, juggling purses, snacks and drinks. Not really a good mix. Maybe moving the bar to the other side of that space, by the window?

Otherwise, this ended up being an enjoyable outing at an overall great facility with friendly front of house staff. I will be watching online to see what they put on here in the future and I will be back.

They say variety is the spice of life. Well then, look no further than the amazing lighthouse theatre. Outstanding performances and great support to local theatre companies such as Primary Performers and Holiday Actors. Thanks heaps lighthouse crew!

Shows provided at this venue are consistently high standard, whether locally produced or imported. Acoustics and production facilities are first class. Recommend.
