Julie at Lifeworks is absolutely amazing. We chose Julie to take our family photos because of her existing great works including new born photography, but also because she has both an indoor and outdoor studio and a load of great props and outfits. Julie is extremely talented in taking beautiful and natural photos with the perfect back drops, and she was super patient with our little one to ensure she captured the most perfect shots. We had family portraits done in May with the lovely Julie. Having our 2.5 year old meant we needed to create a fun & relaxing environment so that he could feel comfortable. Julie captured the essence of our family beautifully. We wanted relaxed and casual images and we were blown away with the result. Julie was an absolute delight and we look forward to using her for future portraits!

Julie at Lifeworks Photography is amazing! She took the most gorgeous photos of our little family. We arrived late to our shoot because our little one decided to make the biggest mess right before we left, and I was very stressed about it, but Julie was so understanding and made us feel at ease. Julie is a very experienced photographer - great with babies and very considerate of parents (my 4 week old tolerated hours of photos despite the poo leak and many nappy changes and breast feeds) - we ended up with the most phenomenal newborn photos which is priceless because he will never be that small again.

Julie took the time to understand my project and what I needed from the portrait. She was warm, creative and professional. She took initiative and offered ideas that resulted in a better product. It was really useful to have my make-up done on site with Millie, who listened to what I wanted and produced the natural look I was after. Julie took some amazing photos of my family. Having teenagers who were 'not keen' to have their photos taken, I was surprised at how much they enjoyed the experience. I entered a competition to win a Father’s Day photoshoot and ended up winning one of the smaller packages. I am so happy that I entered because the photos Julie created for my family are amazing.
She made us feel so comfortable and was a pro working with a newborn and a young puppy. She knew exactly the right angles and captured some amazing moments. She has the most calm and welcoming energy and it just puts you at ease as soon as you walk into her studio.
I am forever grateful for these photos and would definitely recommend her to everyone.
