Life Vision Marriage & Relationship Counselling

My partner and I went to Sue to work on some issues within our relationship. After a few sessions of Sue teaching us how to communicate and understand each others love language I can honestly say our relationship is stronger then even and continues to improve due to the tasks Sue had us work on (and continue to every day at home) would highly recommend Sue.

My partner and I started seeing Rae 2 years ago when we were in the absolutely worst point in our relationship. She was caring, understanding and helpful. She helped us salvage our relationship in a time when we desperately needed it (and even going in with one reluctant counselee). I felt comfortable enough to continue individual counseling with her, when I needed some extra help. I appreciated the assessments at the beginning and end of each session that helped track both how I was feeling and our approach to our sessions. I'm so thankful for her guidance, professionalism, and compassion. My partner and I still use the tools she taught us, and I wouldn't hesitate to return or to recommend Rae to someone. Thank you Rae, and thank you Life Vision.

I highly recommend Sue. She is very professional and very understanding about the multicultural aspect. Being from Indian subcontinent it was not easy for us to seek for professional help. But now I can say we did the right thing.

I am so glad to have found Life Vision Counselling, we have had an amazing experience on our counselling journey. Counselling really saved our relationship and now we are stronger than ever before. We met with Sue who helped us learn to communicate when we had conflict. She showed us how important it was to respect each other’s values and work together as a team. My partner and I also saw Fred for hypnotherapy for anxiety and he helped us resolve that problem in just two sessions each. This has been the best thing we’ve ever done … our family is united, peaceful and calm, listening to one another, taking time out when we need to and most importantly we all are happy and content.

I almost lost everything on the 11th of July 2020. On Monday the 13th I search marriage counselling and was given an appointment on the same day to see Toula. (Great service).

Toula was remarkable. She was kind, soft, understanding and understood both sides of the story without taking on any sides. She managed to bring out all the issues, challenges and raised a sense of awareness and understanding from both sides.

She gave us tools (e.g date night with rules) and other tasks and exercises to do, to help us communicate better.

We left after our first session with hope and eight months later our marriage has been the strongest it's ever been (10th year).

I would recommend Toula to any couple that are in need of help.:)

Though it's apparent Toula and Susan have good intentions their lack of acumen in this space makes them a poor choice for marriage counselling in my opinion. Toulas own issues should never have been raised in counselling sessions. Nor do I think its fair that Toula should have ever had a coffee and cigarette with my ex partner after hours. I think its fair and reasonable to say counselling should be about the client not the counsellor. Susan sat in on 2 sessions and offered counselling advice. Its taken me a little over 12 months to heal from my split and now upon reflection I now realise Susams advice was also of poor quality Thumbs down from me

Can't speak highly enough of the counselling and hypnotherapy team at Life Vision Counselling! Completely professional. They helped us get our relationship back on track after we accepted responsibility for the sad state we were in before counselling. Sue was totally amazing! She really knows her stuff! Taught us how to communicate about the most difficult and challenging issues in our lives! Fred really helped my partner learn to control his addiction and anxiety. I started attending personal sessions with Susan Sandy to resolve relationship issues followed with relationship coaching co attended by my husband. Susan Sandy understands Indian culture and values. She helped us navigate through our issues considerately and she has always treated my husband with compassion unlike few counsellors we attended before who could not understand our roots and hence, could not help us. We found the staff here so helpful! They really know their stuff. They helped us work through our problems and we learned how to manage conflict through better communication. We don’t argue or fight anymore. We can talk things through. Our house is now a peaceful home and we have noticed how much our arguing used to impact on the kids.
