Worst company ever. Undervalued our property and didn’t bother to do a proper assessment. High interest rates. They do not have your best interest.

Possibly the worst mob I have dealt with, folks do your homework, lots of lenders with lower rates, and breakage fees, not transparent with their contracts.shouldn't be trading in this country or anywhere else for that matter

Excellent service from Liberty regarding our refinancing of home loan. Service assistant Ben Mc was brilliant to communicate with. Wanoga Milga is great to deal with.
She made my loan application a simple process, and kept me informed either via a phone call and/ or email, right done to the final phone call and email to say that my loan had been finalised.

Absolute no care factor whatsoever when covid hit I was charged all these hidden interest charges I wasn't aware of, I then rang up to talk about it and they simply didn't care and we had to pay it all.

Biggest rip off financial institution.

We have been using Charles now for several of our finance deals and he has always lived up to his wonderful reputation with exceptional service. Always such a pleasure working with Charles and his team. Thanks again Charles, till next time.

I'm just writing this because they've been in the news so other people will look them up.

Firstly, I'm not a Liberty Financial (LF) customer so my review is not based upon my service but upon their alleged conduct including in the below reviews.

If you are a customer of LF contact them early and where possible in writing (so you have a record).

If they are unable to resolve your issue seek legal advice early from a lawyer with good reviews in banking litigation, the last thing you need is a lawyer to stuff things up (and they do).

Better yet from a pro bono (free legal) service such as Consumer Action Law Service, Everyday Justice (Mills Oakley), Victorian Bar, PILCH etc.

Also, keep your eye out for class actions as if enough people have been affected Maurice Blackburn, Slater and Gordon, Piper Alderman (or someone else) may start looking for people who are in your situation and these are done on a no win, no fee basis.

There are specific protections under the law preventing predatory and unconscionable lending plus unfair contract laws, you need a lawyer so your situation can be reviewed qnd hopefully resolved.
