Pleasant staff. Welcoming atmosphere, and good coffee. Stopped here for a brief macchiato, glad I did.

I don’t know if I’ve ever enjoyed a toastie so much. I want to eat that chicken pesto one every single day of my life - so simple, yet so incredible? !? Your chef has set the bar high.
The coffee is also great. Thanks L&C:)

The quality of their coffees is not consistent, like their opening hours. But I'm still choosing 4 stars because their matcha and chai are pretty nice.

Good services. Tried the Reuben sandwich, not bad. Nice location with outdoor seating in the sun

I have been here once before and returned on a quiet Saturday morning during my bike ride. I ordered an almond croissant and a latte and both were at a good temperature and the barista was friendly and courteous.
I dined in and don't understand why I was given a take away cup. I wasn't going to drink it while riding. Anyhow, good Streetart on the walls outside the cafe to admire. No table and chairs inside.

Got a good coffee for takeaway during lockdown.
There is a beautiful wallart on the wall of this building as well.

Come in regularly. St Ali coffee is a real plus (although they should advertise more that they use it.) Staff are really warm and friendly. A guy and a lady (both with tattoos) always treat me like a friend which is nice. Quick wait times as well, always a bonus

You don't have to be a libertine to love this place. Excellent coffee. Friendly service and a great place to pause and watch the world go by.

They need to change there tea supplier, a lot of stores go for fancy stuff without realizing that the freshness of the herbs can affect the quality of the tea and there tea is nearly undrinkable. That being said there brekkie wrap with onion jam is out of the world and more than makes up for it.

I have started visiting this place as it is a short walk from home and working home I am drinking more coffee. This place has to employ the rudest bunch of people I have come across especially the bearded barista.

No problem guys it's Collingwood, there are at least 300 coffee shops to collect a coffee and toasted sandwich.

I will happily walk further to avoid the sheer unwarranted rudeness.

Within minutes from Smith St, this little gem in the heart of Collingwood provides a perfect combination of best food for the soul and a friendly chat for the heart. The brownies there are unbelievable!

Coffee and food was good but who tf plays house music in a cafe? It's the morning. It was like my brain was being attacked by dental surgery tools. Maybe the staff were still kicking on from the previous night. No chill. Would more expect that from somewhere on chapel st

I walked into this cafe on a Sunday and was made to feel like I had walked into someones house uninvited. I Offered a friendly good morning, and received indecipherable grunt. The coffee was average, made by someone who didn't want to be bothered
I didn't want to make a new friend, but sure as hell didn't want to made to feel like a inconvenience. I wont bother you guys again

I came here about 12 months ago with my kids and then again recently. Really enjoy the vibe, the menu and the staff. Firstly the coffee was great and not too much froth which seems to be a trend at the moment. I ordered the 'comforting croissant' and it was so fresh and light. Delicious. Got myself a seat on the lovely brown leather couch and read the paper while the world just buzzed by outside. Also like the simple, funky, earthy decor. Big thank you to the staff who were so friendly and helpful. Takeaway food available. Dietaries catered for - just let the staff know. Parking isn't too bad out the front. Seating outside and inside. Wheelchair accessible. Kid friendly.

This is one of the most average "locals" cafe in Collingwood, fine if you just want a quick coffee but nothing exceptional. Coffee was pretty standard. Cakes and banana bread are available as are some standard cafe foods (toasted sandwiches ect).
For a pretty quiet day with 3-4 staff working, the service was average to say the least. Without sounding petty, the small things here were the biggest turn off. After ordering a snack that was under $10, I was charged a. 20c surcharge for using card (is this still a thing? So many cafes don't bother with it anymore). I ordered a slice of banana bread to snack on, and then after sitting down was told they do it as a meal and would be charged more - I just wanted the slice.
At one point my coffee was empty and the cup was whisked away, would have been nice to even get asked if I wanted another or how it was. Saying a thanks and bye as I left the cafe, two staff looked at me then just turned away, ignoring us leaving. It's all little things, but maybe I've just come to expect more from Melbourne cafes, especially in Collingwood where the competition is fierce. They did play great music, the venue has wifi and there's a lot of natural light - so lots going for the place, just could do with a little bit of a fix up.

This cafe is so worth a visit. Run by lovely friendly people, delicious coffee, gorgeous food and a beautiful space to enjoy it in. We had the egg and bacon roll and veggy flatbread one day, then went back again for their feta and dill avocado on toast with poached eggs - so delicious. Thank you so much

We has the whip avo with a latte and the pickle and ham sandwich with cold drip coffee. My partner and I love going halfsy so once We eat half we swap. The avo was my favourite. It was lite and made even fresher with the spritz of lime to the top. The coffees were both smooth and really tasty.
The environment was relaxed with a local casual feel. The staff were friendly as well.
I have no suggestions on how they could have improved which is why I gave 5 stars.
