I called and requested a free consult over the phone and within a couple hours I got a call from them. They were polite and the response time was quick and convenient.

I talked about a sensitive matter on the phone (I was given no legal advice during this call), after that I emailed sensitive documents that they requested along with more details, and only then did they tell me the consultation would be $880.

In their email they didn't explain why it wouldn't be free or respond to any of the information in my email or documents.

I found a better option pretty quickly with service such as this.

Do not trust these scammers and exploiters!

I contacted LGM ADVISORS the unprofessional dishonest scammers over the phone to discuss a legal matter. Spoke to the Chines male trainee "Tom Jessup". I was asked information over the phone and was told by Tom Jessup that I was to send all my documents first and he was going to get back to me. LIES!
TOM did not have the decency or professional courtesy to acknowledged my email dated 19 July 2019; until I had to send a second Follow Up Email?
Then on the 24 July 2019, TOM gets back to me asking for $660.00 to be deposited to the trust account, if I was needing advice.
I was never told about a $660.00 fee upfront over the phone; as I was then able to make an informed decision if I wanted to proceed.

I was clearly requested to send all my documents “first “with NO word of a $660.00 fee? , which I did not know about at all. With 100% trust and good faith I released all my private documents, bad move!
I was clearly told “ the lawyer will look at your documents and get back to you”. NO, this was a 100% false invention & dishonesty by LGM ADVISORS!
This was just to get the customer to send documents and then commence a cost agreement…. Why was this NOT told upfront during the call in the first place, simply Misrepresenting and FALSEHOOD!
Your clients are smarter and wiser than you think LGM?

If I was told about a fee of $660.00 I would have been in a better position to decide and have the rights to make my decision. IF I was going to risk my privacy in the first place!
At which time, if I was told this information, I would have signed a cost agreement and an approval to proceed. NO options were given; simply taking all my documents misleading the client all the way!
Based on the dishonesty and fabrications and not knowing this in advance, I released a number of very sensitive confidential documents to LGM?
Then to receive an email from TOM requesting for $660.00 and asked to sign a “standard cost engagement documents for an assessment”, was very disingenuous, misleading and deceptive.
I note if the lawyer was well experienced he/she would have observed the DEED and the additional documents sent, I believe “any experienced, capable, competent lawyer”, would have been able to make this judgement.
This is so fabricating and just a way to extract $660.00! I hate it when lawyers feel they are above the law and can get away from this type of swindles.
Later, I get a further email from a “James Anglicas”, explaining how LGM ADVISORS work? What a joke!
So, my question to LGM ADVISORS was; “ WHY DID THE Chines male trainee "Tom Jessup", NOT TELL THIS TO THE CUSTOMER DURING THE CALL? "IF THAT IS HOW LGM WORKED"?
My email questions were disregard by James Anglicas ; as he was now explaining how LGM worked?
I find this is very deceptive, offensive and misleading Tom AND James!
IT IS TOO LATE; as all my privacy has been breached now.
Please do not do this; as not all customers are inexperienced, ill-informed and ignorant.

Seriously, this is unacceptable and a breach of my privacy LGM! And I take offense when legal firms feel they are able to manipulate, tell white lies and con clients!
These are Cowboys scamming clients through desperation…. Lies. Lies… Lies!

This is a deliberate privacy breach of confidential documents which are in the possession of LGM (on email) NOW. It’s too late as all the damage is done and I will be taking this matter up with the (LSC) Legal Services Commissioner as this is not good enough.
