Levanter Cafe reviews
41 We went for breakfast and we really liked the space. The staff was very friendly.
The falafel and haloumi were very good. The rest of the ingredients that accompanied both the salad and the wrap were fresh but did not contribute much.
The chai tea was very weak.
The correct turmeric tea.
Everything very expensive.
One of my favourite places to get coffee and hot chocolate. This is really one of the loveliest cafes I have been too. Their baked goods are yumm too. Highly recommend.
As a local this is my favourite coffee spot. Nothing beats the amazing coffee! The owners who run it are so sweet and friendly. Couldn't recommend this place more!
What a gorgeous place! Went in to try their loose leaf chai but then noticed the vegan friendly menu.possibly the best chai ive had.friendliest service, you can see they take pride in the smaller details.also food tastes super fresh!
Middle eastern desserts
I didn't know interesting cafe is near! I'm glad my friend told me to visit, I will try other food next time!
It's a nice place with friendly staff but the matcha latte was a big letdown. It was very weak with almost no flavor, for $7 in a small cup it's a bit of a joke. If you don't know how matcha latte should taste, I suggest you don't try to sell it to people.
Worth a trip to experience nice and cosy local cafe full of delicious food & drink.
• The cafe looks small from the frontal view, yet there's a huge dining space in the back with full heater & outdoor area. Look around while you are waiting for food to come.
• I've tried pastry, backlava, hummus wrap, chai latte, menegic coffee (that is not really coffee), and syrican coffee.
• My favourite is chai latte here. I wish it was less sweeter. Still, it's good!
• Just be mindful it can get very busy.
• Visited twice in a row. Such a nice local cafe. Thank you
Delicious chai, amazing customer service and a great variety of space, good vibes, definitely will come back!
Love this place, the pistachio coffee is amazing and some nice spreads, outdoor seating area and sweets like Turkish delight
Amazing chai, full of spices and warm. Lovely space and the staff are really nice. This is my favorite cafe in this area <3
Visit first time on Eid day. Syrian tea was great. Must give it a try. Staff was friendly:)
Stopped in to get a coffee in the morning and loved it. Though the price was a little high with the add on of Oat milk it was worth while for a good quality coffee. They have all kinds of milks and a selection of snacks and drinks on offer.
The space itself is beautiful with a cute spot out the back to sit in the sun or a lot of nice space indoors. Very quiet spot with room to sit and work, and serves coffee from 7am to 7pm which is great. All in all wonderful little nook worth stopping by.
I’ve been coming here regularly, Sam and team have always been very lovely and always help me starting my day on the right foot.
A small mocha costs $6. A dollar extra for it being a mocha but not readily disclosed. That's more than airport prices.
The coffee was actually quite good. The temperature was good, and so was the customer service.
Amazing food and great customer service. Staff was happy, smiling and very nice. Definitely going again
Went here for the brunch and it was remarkable! The food was great, the service was even more stunning (attentive and friendly!). We shared the beef and egg and shakshouka, and not to forget the baklava! I had the hot chocolate, and it was served with a side of honey, cinnamon, and star anise. Great experience overall!
We have been regular customers of Levanter since Melbournes lockdowns began in 2020. The coffee here is the best in the area and the customer service is exceptional!
Levanter everything created with care and kindness served with a smile the Syrian cafe on Carlisle street the brightest jewel in the balaclava crown
Amazing Syrian cafe, just had a Levantine breakfast with traditional Syrian coffee with cardamom. Delicious food and lovely staff and owners. I will definitely be back!
