My name is Brian Sullivan l am a level 4 Aged Care recipient. My provider for almost 5 years is Lets Get Care. I have retired after held the position of Senior Partner in a highly respected Accounting Practice. I wish to take this opportunity to commend an employee named Meg for the exceptional manner she handled the evaluation of my current health position. She handled with great skill and with a sensitivity that l commend. I have recently had serious medical problems and she treated this information in a delicate manner. Meg is a credit to the organisation she represents. Thanks again Meg

Let's Get Care have been excellent to work with. I have always felt comfortable to contact the staff when I have a query or question.
The team and especially Lisa Caruana have always been incredibly helpful and nothing is ever too much to ask.
I am extremely pleased with Let’s Get Care and highly recommend this service.

Edit: A month later, no call from senior management. Surprise surprise

Let's Get Care? They really need to change their name to We Couldn't Care Less (and that's the PG version)

Where do I start? They barely respond to emails and never answer the phone. They jeopardise relationships with contractors by not paying on time and changing the rules to their service agreements. They take forever to approve anything, if they bother to approve it at all. Staff are either totally apathetic or abusive

How on earth are we meant to self manage anything when they go out of their way to make it impossible? I can't be more disappointed, frustrated and angry. And in the meantime, our 83 year old and her genuine needs are forgotten by them. But at least they get paid, right?

Head Office will probably respond to this review with a generic "we're so sorry, call us". How about you call me? !

Be warned worst unethical my aged care provider.
They have no respect for their clients. You have to document everything they say as they delete emails. Make sure you file their emails in a secure area they can’t get too.
They are dishonest and cunning.

This is my view of let’s get care.
Very hard to get through on phone. I have been on the phone for 1hour 35 minutes today and still can’t get to talk to anyone; Case managers have a high turn over resulting in very difficult to get an answers to questions. I find the business very inefficient.

I couldn't be more happier and grateful for finding this fantastic service provider (let's get care & better living) as they put the interest of the client first. All friendly staff and will go out of their way to help and accommodate the needs. Also the rate charged is simple and straightforward, no hidden costs or fees. They tick all the boxes. Well deserved to all
I have three family members signed up with them.l
I wrote this review when they looked after clients. Unfortunately since the company have been sold, I have been having a great deal of problems. No compassion no care management no response delays in reimbursement and the list goes on. DO NO USE THEM. I am looking for another provider

Taking over a month to get essential equipment (still waiting as I’m writing this). Approval and payment process causing undue delays. Takes weeks for a quote to be approved and then they ask for a tax invoice and that then takes weeks again. How can a 92 year old disabled person be waiting this long to get essential equipment?
Supplier not getting paid on time and I have to repeatedly chase LGC. I already do all of the front end work to find and organize suppliers and get quotes - how hard is it to simply get it approved and paid? As others have said - LGC never fail to pay themselves on time though! Honestly I don’t know what the 13% fee is paying for right now.
Emails weren’t getting answered for weeks until I complained.
Care manager was changed without giving us notice until I asked.
Giving two stars because the care managers we’ve had have been nice people and seem to be trying their best. But something is not right with this company and the current standard of service is unacceptable.

Very quick to take my Dad’s money but have to email at least 4 times to get accounts paid for him. Again the cleaners haven’t been paid and this after numerous emails. The worst service I have ever experienced. And if we ask for anything it is just too hard. Wish I could find another provider. ‍️?

Let's NOT Get Care
This company do not return phone calls, do not comply with ANY the services they PROMISED in "Care Plan", VERY "shady in not spending money on a level 4 plan in necessities such as continence products, walking aids, functional capacity reports, Doctor visits and reports, psychology appointments, chemist continence aids etc etc etc ALL NECESSARY FOR MY WELL BEING. I have made dozens and dozens and dozens of phone calls to Lets NOT Get Care because the "care" manager and company manager are "ALWAYS in a meeting but promise to call back" but they NEVER do! I have been yelled at, name called and shown utter disrespect which is unconscionable for an organisation dealing with people health and mental welfare. They have actually blocked my number after I made 2, which will now be 3 official complaints with My Aged Care. They have also blocked an NDIS worker from calling because, even though I gave her written consent to act on my behalf they now will not answer her calls either. However, when we switch our numbers to "private" Lets Not Get Care suddenly answer the phone! Their negligence has been absolutely appalling! I am keen to go to the media so Families with parents under their "care", if are not already alerted, are alerted and no doubt people will come out of the woodwork from all over with similar stories to mine. I don't know if they have "misapropiated" or outright stolen funding from clients but something is VERY shady when they refuse to pay, on a level 4 funded client, for even a walking stick! They should be made accountable! I have lodged a third formal complaint with My Aged Care although the last assessor from my aged care openly addmitted she was "best mates" with one of the senior "care" managers and so nothing was really resolved. They have pushed me too far this time so I will be like a dog with a bone in getting to the bottom off ALL their irreparable behaviour! Join me if you will.

Have been with Let's Get Care for several years but am now so bitterly disappointed and angry. We are self managed and they no longer pay promptly. You cannot speak to anyone directly and are on continuous hold. Emails are rarely responded to and staff change quicker than the weather. Do not try and use this company and if you are it's time to jump ship. They also try and convert you to managed so they make more money. I'm disappointed but hope this review helps others avoid the issues we have experienced. Superior Care my foot.

Appalling customer service. I was looking forward to working with a company to self manage my mother's package. Unable to get through on the phone despite numerous attempts & long wait times. I emailed an urgent request and waited days for a reply. The question I asked was not answered in the email. I was emailed " name a time & day that suits & we will call you". Lies. Rang after I emailed twice more, 3 hours after the requested time when I was working & couldn't take the call. Told my receptionist" we have lots of clients so calling at a certain time isn't going to happen". Don't promise what you can't or won't deliver, and get some staff with knowledge and better attitudes!

It has been a nightmare to deal with " Lets Get Care" last few months! Extremely poor management, incompetent staff and absolutely hopeless, almost impossible to get to talk to someone to resolve issue. I do not really know how they can run a business like this! Maybe the name should be changed to Lets get NO care! Honestly.

Appalling. Terrible. Embarrasing. We came to this organisation for the self managed option believing they were efficient and effective. LGC are not.

The accounts payale is inept.

They have mesed up or delayed nearly every invoice sent to them for payment.
We went and found the service providers. We got the competitive quotes from providers, to ensure the tax payer got the best possible deal with the money given to us by the government. All Let's Get Care (LGC) had to do eas pay.

LGC have ruined our provider relationships by and failing to do their part- paying the bills for which they are paud a fee equivalent to 15% of the package.

Workmen and providers won't come back to us when LGC failed to pay invoices within the agreed terms.

Now we discoer

Today we discovered that our electrician has not been paid thr $3,300 owed hom for 7 weeks. Our former electrician and I were told by LGC that he would be paid in 3-5 days. Still he waits, despite the fact that he'd received LGC's pre approval based on his submitted quote.

The money is credited and available in our
account. LGC simply can't or won't pay it out.

LGC received his invoice on October 24th: it was forwarded to LGC Payables on October 25th and now on December 14th it's still unpaid.

This poor guy has been left waiting all this time. How does he pay his bills? Now he will not come do work for us again, nor will he take on LGC linked work again.

I do not know if there are other self managed operators out there, but i can't recommend this one.

LGC is terrible and embarrasing.

Let's Get Care allows the flexibility to manage a HCP the way that is most beneficial to the person receiving the HCP. Kye is my Dad's care manager and every interaction with Kye and all LGC staff has been helpful and has had positive outcomes. Kye is always, kind, caring, responsive and lovely to communicate with. Kye, an excellent representative of LGC, shows genuine care and takes the extra steps to get the absolute best use of the package for her clients. Clients are treated respectfully and as individuals, rather than numbers.before selecting Let's Get Care we did a lot of research and are so glad that we did. I would recommend Let's Get Care 100%.

The staff promise you a Carers Dream come true. More hours, funds, services. It was all fake. A waste of time. It cost me the risk of losing Mums current Provider as l had to obtain ABN numbers from Contractors (lm still at risk if found out l planned to switch Providers who Parents had for 14yrs), pay for Carers to obtain ABN, get Police Checks (l pay for private Carers) all for nothing. Plus they wasted a private Advocate time. Another bill to pay for.
So guttered and disappointed. They only returned my call after l mentioned l will send in my feedback.

Given the mount of publicity and the existence of a Royal Commission - before Covid - everyone should know the industry that provides services to the aged albeit with Government funds is a highly competitive and shonky industry. Compared to the worst LGC is better. Like many I used to recommend them. I NO LONGER recommend and advice AGAINST hiring them. It appears they had a plan to build up a large customer base very quickly by pushing the envelope of regulations in the correct belief this would not be allowed to continue. They use persistent and domineering marketing and sales tactics akin to a late night Tv ad for products of dubious value - always a bad sign and a sign of disrespect for potential customers. The staff do not have the capacity to understand the training or even capacity to understand what is necessary to properly administer a Home Care Package. In order to cover up their inadequacies the adopt a condescending position and speak in a robotic detached voice which is off putting. Also they employ a lot very fake ' friendliness' used to obfuscate the issues. BEST self managed Provider is Empowered Ageing. No tactics necessary with Empowered.

See LGC response. Typically full of contrived fake disingenuous rhetorkc. Even the first words. I gave a review - I did not reach out'. All Fake words to try to falsely make themselves look good. I stand by all I have said. What I have said here is measured given what a tually occurred. Very fake people. The culture of any company comes from the top.

They just want to keep doing what they do best with 'corporate thuggery' via rethoric contrived to demean. There is n9 vreater insult than to be gaslighted as they are doing here.

Exceptional care and service. Accounts to service providers are paid quickly. I have always had very supportive care from my case worker, Anne. I can't recommend them highly enough. Thank you Let's Get Care.

Lets Get Care is a refreshing care provider service, we are so very delighted with our switch to them after paying higher fees with less service to another provider. The staff are so very helpful and they pay suppliers promptly, ensuring we experience no hiccups with the care supplied to my elderly parents. Thank you to the entire team, I couldn't recommend you all more highly.

The staff at Let’s Get Care are fantastic! They show a consistent amount of care, kindness and support with assisting you in each process of the Home Care Package program. Having been with Let’s Get Care made things possible for our grandmother and we felt like we were being looked after each step of the way. Thank you to all of the staff at Let’s Get Care, that made being with this Aged Care provider, 5 stars!
