Leopold Sportsmans Club

Well firstly we arrived to no booking under our name some one elses and then we ordered meals only to be told 40 min wait and we waited over an hour and staff wont that nice and short staffed but meal was good

Food just okay. On a group dinner, 10 dinners arrived together, two left till ten mins later. The late 2 dinners were cold as if they were left on the side.

Lovely staff, generous meals which were all delicious and hearty. I had chicken scallopini, lovely! Get's quite loud and busy. Enjoyed our night, ty

Having travelled over from WA we were so impressed that we had lunch one day and returned the following evening. Wanted to watch the Dockers football match which they promised to put on for us.
True to their word they changed the Fox Ch.to accommodate us. (, not sure they would have done that if Geelong were playing) can highly reccomend this establishment employing such friendly staff who obviously enjoyed their workplace. Thanks to the manageress for doing such a great job, even though she gave me a friendly thumbs down when I mentioned. I.was A Dockers member ️️

Food is fine, atmosphere and service is pretty average.

Nice for a beer outside, but I personally avoid being in the bistro as it's too loud and generally very crowded in the evenings.

The Leopold Sportsman Club is exactly what you would expect. If you are not a member you have to sign in. As with many clubs these days it simply a matter of inserting your driver's license into a slot and they spit our a printed out with your name and life history. Well perhaps not your life history but I'm pretty sure they have enough information to do what they have to do should the need arise.

Again the rest of the process is as you would expect, menu, go to the counter to order, staff are friendly and the food is pretty reasonable as well as the prices. They are not as cheap as club meals used to be but what is these days.

If you're interested you can watch one of the many TVs circumnavigating the dining room or watch the game of bowls outside.

The service is quick-ish and they will even accommodate individual requests like one meal two plates kind of thing.

There is plenty of parking so overall having a meal at the Leopold Sportsmans' (can't believe someone hasn't complained) Club is an efficient, easy and enjoyable way to have lunch (or dinner I guess)

Oh yes and if you are that way inclined you can also go and donate some money at the pokies in the adjoining room.

Overall however a pleasant experience.

The LSC has a friendly and relaxing atmosphere. They have a good range of meals, which are reasonably priced and the service is wonderful. I would recommend this venue highly for family get togethers such as birthdays too. Cheerz

Not only the food is the best value for money it is delicious. Best of all are the staff not pretentious they are down to earth terrific young people that need recognition and praise

A good venue for a family celebrationary dinner with plenty of options to satisfy most tastes. Family friendly and value for money.

Third time disappointed in the meals at this place, 3 chances to many.
My daughters meal was the first of a big table to order & it came out very late & last. Her burger was raw in the middle in which I asked them to just put the patty back on the grill (as a chef myself I didn’t want to be too much of a bother) they sent out a new patty in her burger & before she took a bite I checked it & once again it was raw so I took the plate back & told them not to worry about it & to keep it. In all fairness the service was amazing though

Went for a birthday lunch on Saturday 2nd July, we were one of the first tables to order our meal, and the last to receive it. The meal itself was well below standard from this club, very disappointing and won't be back in a hurry

We arrived at noon on Tuesday and the bistro was rather empty only about forty people. Apparently latter part of the week it's full. Bookings are required then. A large menu was a great surprise and numerous choices. Garlic prawns and chilli on basmati rice. There were at least 12 prawns and very scrumptious. Won't be long before we return.

When we first moved to Leopold this place was amazing. The food was awesome, price point excellent and service was extremely quick. Now, food is average, menu is OK but could have more gluten free/vegan options and service is OK. Still a customer but not first option.

Dirty tables ordinary meal service, bar service was good but too many flys due to food left on tables when patrons had left and no clean up.

Pleasantly surprised with the varied lunch menu, all reasonably priced. My with and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Suspect that they have a new chef. Would recommend this Venu.

The Leopold Sportsmans club came out with a new menu and when I saw that it had a vegan parmi on it I drove over right away to try it. It cost $28.90 and was actually very nice, I would definitely have it again, however I wish it wasn't so expensive. It was basically a vegan schnitzel covered in a thick red sauce. The salad was amazing and if I had it again I would recommend their normal chips over the sweet potato ones.

Menu has a great selection of meals and at very affordable prices. The meals were absolutely delicious. Wish you were my local!

Sorry I can only give you a low score.we waited over an hour for our meal.my food was Luke warm which made the pork taste fatty.the rind was tough and like soft leather

My husband had the porter house.tough and chips were cold.you need to up your game.the noise was off the charts.

The Manager Glen and all the staff on the 29.02.2022 where excellent. They helped us with our function. They went out of there way to make it a special night.
