Good food although not hot enough, salt shaker too small, but great service and attention from Nicole, thank you.

I went for the first time in 20 years. I was impressed by the staff, every single one of them was very friendly and helpful. The food was pretty good and it's a nice atmosphere. I will go a few more times and if I keep enjoying I'll sign up as a member. I'm pretty sure they also have poker machines which I'm pleased to say, I could not see from the bistro.

The Leongatha R. S. L.looks after and cares for veterans. These days that is rare thing as 99% are purely just pokie venues and could not and do not care about war veterans.
I am a Vietnam Vet and I cannot believe how great the support and care for all Veterans that this RSL has. If I could give a 10 star rating I would without hesitation. Well done to all at the club.

Food was very tasty, couldn't fault it.
The lady (think her name was Trina) was very friendly even though there were only 2 staff in the dining room who were run off their feet but yet pushed through and still smiled and offered great service. Think they both deserved a medal. AAA+ Will most definitely return.

Had lunch here for the first time today and very happy with it. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the food is excellent.
My companion had a beautifully cooked medium rare porterhouse with chips and salad, and I opted for the board special of beef stroganoff. This was really good because the beef was tender and not smothered in a thick sauce, but lightly coated in the sauce. Highly recommend and we will certainly return.

We did lunch and ordered a Parma which was great and on Tuesday and Fridays it's $22 with a drink. Normal price is $27 which I wouldn't pay $27 for this for lunch or dinner at a RSL.
The pie is actually stew with a pastry top. Not enough gravy but still nice enough.
I found this to be an expensive lunch meal, the prices would be fine for dinner though.

It's good with the nice meals they provide and the staff are nice people to get along with and friendly and i get there on most Thursday night's when I'm not at work on my 12 hour nightshifts at the Milk factory. I can only get to the RSL when I'm on my 12 hour dayshifts that finish at 6pm and of course my days off work but other than all that when i can attend in my own times.

Good idea to ring and book a table on a Thursday, good selection of food. Friendly staff and front desk.

Where are my good friends Riley and Nicholas? Nicholas was great at customer servoice and would always help me out with my pokie slaps! He was great and Riley was there too.

It’s a typical Aussie RSL with pub meals, beer, pokies and raffles. The meals are big serves, quite good value. As for the flavor, it’s pretty standard quality for a country pub, no-frills food basically. Atmosphere is a bit lacking, maybe except for nights when it starts to pick up.

The service was great, went the extra mile for my Mothers 90th Birthday, food was plentiful and well enjoyed. Lovely surroundings.

4 meals and not one of them has been up to a standard that you would get in a back alley food place you speak to the management and it falls on deaf ears

Great friendly place and service, considerable war stuff on display plenty to look at and well displayed, awesome Atlantic salmon and tender juicy steak dianne, the friday night raffle i won a voucher yay me, finish off with a nice coffee n mint chocolate, something for everyone here

We had dinner here tonight, when I walked in the first thing I noticed is how deadly quite it was, no back ground music, even the tv with the football on was so low you could only hear it if you really tuned in. While out food was quick and ok, Mine came in a chipped plate.
The service was unenthusiastic.
People on the table next to us sent their steak back as it was med rare not rare, the second steak was still over cooked and the wait staff response was "oh well".
Nice Venu, sorry to say the service needs improvement.
