I found the service excellent, I walked in, was asked immediately what I wanted.
Gave me a try, second try was perfect. No fuss direct to the point, no mucking around.
I was so happy I bought 2 pairs.

I just bought a pair of gym shoes from this little suburban specialist retailer. It isn't a flash shop, and carries only one brand (Asics).
But I was delighted to find a good range and store owners/staff interested in ensuring the shoes fit properly and have the knowledgeable to ensure they do.
Such a refreshing change from the shopping mall so-called "shoe specialist" retailers staffed by people with limited knowledge and just focused on making a sale. I will go back to Leo Russell for my next pair.

The best knowledge, experience and advice anywhere. If you have to try on more than two pairs it's an off day for whoever's helping! They know what you need better than you do yourself!

Best advice from the beautiful woman who helped me. She gave me the best advice according to my feet and orthotics. She could have sold me a more expensive runner which i thought was good and she sold me the cheaper shoe which made more sense for my feet. The best i have felt with my arthritic inflammatory feet. Very good service. Particular stock sometimes not available until next shipment. Currently 2 customer limit as COVID precaution. They allow 15 minutes per customer. Was a queue of 2 when I attended on a Thursday approx 11: 15 am. When I left there were about 4-5 customers queued outside. Prefer cash, but can now accommodate Direct Deposit. Also deliver to you but I did not find out if there is a distance limit. Great prices.

Great pricing, cash only and this family know their asics! For example, we buy our school leather runners here every year $120.

Being buying my asics here for years they actually fit the shoes to your feet and ensure that you have the correct fitting. They only accept cash payment.

This is the second time in a few years I have visited this place. I've only worn Asics for the last 6-7 years and a fitness instructor referred me a couple of years ago. I walked out today with two pairs because, why not? Great service and discounted, particularly good on older stock. It's a tiny store and if you blink you miss it, but alot of stock & Peter is an absolute character, which adds to it's old skool charm. Highly recommend!

Always offers a good bargain for quality Asics for any age. I bought for my 3.5 yr old and 7 yr old but the have all sizes. However they do ONLY sell Asics.

This store stocks Asics-only running shoes plus offerings for kids so if you're searching for the latest Nike offering, try elsewhere. These guys know their stuff and can determine within seconds what's good for you. As a cash-only outlet, they're able to pass on the overhead savings to the customer. Would highly recommend.

Racist and condescending old owner who has made millions from a lucrative scheme called: CASH ONLY sales. Claims he sells 50+ pairs on a given day but I wonder how many he tells the ATO he sells? He will even point you in the direction of the Post Office office across the road to withdraw cash. He already has a lovely collection of European cars and dresses like he is a battler just to convince you that he is ‘fair dinkum’. Glad ASICS have their own factory outlets now. Thanks mate.

Great discounts on running shoes. Staff were very helpful in finding the right shoes to match my feet and running style.

Cash only. He can be a bit brusque when fitting shoes, especially for ladies fittings; She is much more patient. Regardless, they both understand how to get the best out of your footwear which is why they got my wife out of a short, wide fitting into a longer narrow fitting shoe and my wife couldnt be happier. We go about once a year and buy at least two pairs of Asics each, all cash only so have deep pockets. Been going there since 1998.
