Our kids loved Legoland, it was much smaller than expected, especially for the price. Some areas are looking quite old and run down, especially the little duplo play area. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was ok.

I have been to Legoland in dubai. This one is conveniently located in a shopping mall but it is quite small. The kids were amused for 1.5 to 2 hrs.

OUr whole family had such a wonderful time at the Legoland Discovery centre in Chadstone. So much to keep my two and six yr old entertained. They would have stayed all day f they could! Only tiny bit of feed back was the amount and variation of food options in the cafe.

Nice outing for kids. Tickets are pricey though for the amount that you get to do but kids loved it nevertheless.

First off- what in the world are the prices? Forcing adults to enter with kids but charging the same amount is ridiculous.
We didn’t get the activity lanyard we paid for.
When booking they doubled our booking but thankfully was refunded quickly.
When we went to enter, the girl was absolutely lovely and the group there was the smiliest of them all.
When entering you’re given 1 minute to build something- my 3 year old special needs child was having a meltdown from overwhelm and took a little while to get his bearings. Then we were told in a horrid tone and aggressively that ‘the time stopped 30 seconds ago, ’ where’s the care that a child already having a hard time was about to miss out!
It ruined the rest of his visit as we sat consoling him because he couldn’t build the thing for the machine that he wanted to.

The venue was rather chaotic, it’s some tables to build at and playgrounds to play on so very disappointed for the price you pay.

We finally head to the shop and my son was again yelled at because he was struggling to pass up his purchases and that was irritating to the clear kid hating worker who stormed of for ‘a effing smoke’ because working in a children’s play centre is clearly not the place for them.

Extremely disappointed in the whole place and its lack of child friendly staff!

Identical layout and experiences today as it was 5+yrs ago. Except for $36 a ticket, it's time for a refresh.it's looking quite tired, very dusty, playgym torn in many areas.with part of it used as open storage.if it was as well kept as it was back then, I'd consider coming back.

Seems like a small space but there’s actually quite a lot to do. The 4D cinema has several Lego movies so you can keep going back there and the mini-Melbourne looks really good. Queues weren’t bad even though we were there on the school holidays, and they mostly seem to manage them quite well.

Disappointing visit this time, after a much better visit 2.5 years ago. Despite pre-purchasing tickets online for a booked entry time, there was no seperate line for ticket holders Vs ticket buyers. As such we waited in a long line of large families asking a million questions about the best value way to pay entry instead of jumping this queue. Once ushered through to the second waiting area, there was another queue to get into the mandatory “dreamz” build/display area and no option to skip it. Pointless display. Also noted many of the “press to play” buttons in the Lego Melbourne display were faulty (though I can’t fault the build quality of the Lego Melbourne display, attention to detail and huge size - it really is an excellent display).
Staff inside the centre were thin on the ground and either indifferent or blatantly ignoring patrons. The sneer on the girl working the 4D video was particularly grinding. Yes we get it, it’s school holidays, it’s noisy and crowded and chaotic - but it’s also your job, muster up at least a pleasant countenance.
The exhibits themselves are well executed, though beginning to show substantial wear and tear. Not the visit we had hoped for.

Came from Sydney to visit here, was well worth the trip!

Rides are fun and the 4D movie theatre was incredible.

You could spend a whole day here. So many great activities to attend and experience. A great time for kids and adults if you love Lego.

I was extremely happy with Legoland until I was refused any sort of cash payment.
I understand with Covid it's difficult but in circumstances like mine where you don't have money on you and your children want to eat at Legoland it's disappointing that I was refused cash payments as it's a legal form of payment.
The girl at the cafeteria was also very rude about declining the money, she could have been more understanding and nicer considering there are kids present and she works in a child friendly venue.

Super impressive and the kids loved it! A great way to spend a few hours at Chadstone. The short film, play grounds and interactive activities were our favourites.

Staff are really helpful. Pick a Brick wall changes regularly. The VIP points at discovery centres are not the same as in other stores.

Nice quaint place with lots to do for the children; it's aimed for a very young demographic but adults will still find enjoyment within the mini Melbourne display, the 4D movies or building however they please.

The rides, movie and some other attractions were good. Not actually too much to do (organised Lego play). Not well signed, and overcrowded with people and attractions too close together. Overpriced for the experience.

Awesome place for fun and discovery. Check out mini Melbourne and the instructional videos, 3d movies, games, rides and such a creative atmosphere.

Over rated, eat before you go the food looked so bad I was starving and wouldn't eat from their cafe.

This was great fun, perhaps targeted at younger children aged 5-9. Tonnes of building activities and activities. A must do if you have young children who love lego. The store was fantastic too, excellent selection and a few sets that you wont find in regular toy stores. Unfortunately due to Covid restrictions the pick-a-brick wall (to purchase individual bricks) required staff assistance making the process quite clunky.

Compared to what could have been done with the topic LEGO it appeared quite poor to us.
Except some huge builds of LEGO we didn't see anything particular to LEGO.
Why for example weren't some awesome creations of LEGO Technic or other LEGO series shown?
Or some of the LEGO sets built huge so the kids could feel like being a LEGO man in the LEGO world?
Lots of missed opportunities for the LEGO company to show how amazing LEGO could be.

Spent hours here and could have stayed longer! Grea tg value for money, the displays are amazing and it's quite hands on. There's a creative workshop too, a couple playgrounds and a carnival ride. Customer service was friendly, food was expensive (as expected) and coffee was average.
