Leega Korean BBQ

Nice find. We ordered the $90 beef set which included 2 types of beef and 2 sharing dishes - the beef kalbi was yummy. 2 adults and 1 toddler left feeling full and satisfied.

Good food and efficient service. We just hope the meat is seasoned and or done with a marinate. The meat came with as is, would've been nice with more flavouring options in it.

Such a let down. Spent $80 for 2 pc of pork belly, marinated beef, thin pieces of cross short ribs and 2 small servings of rice. Side dishes were like condiments. A little bit of everything. Just wanted to say hands down to the chef for marinating the beef so well. Could’ve been to an all-you-can eat with that amount spent. The app where you go straight to order was the worst because it won’t let you proceed without giving a tip when the staff weren’t even welcoming and made you feel like they shouldn’t be there serving.

It took about 20 mins for them to serve uncooked meat and 40 mins for a bowl of cold noodle.
Food is overpriced but quality is average.
Avoid the seats at the entrance. Every time someone opens the door, the wind will blow the smoke right into your face. It wasn't very pleasant.

This place had a few plant based options, which is a rare find in most Korean BBQ places. The food and the garnishes were delicious, and the service was really quick and smooth.

Food very average. Bizarre to be told we had to cook our own BBQ (every Korean BBQ restaurant I’ve been to in my life will offer at least a few minutes assistance). Instead we were told shortly ‘we don’t do that’ and given patronising instructions on how to cook it ourself.

Asked for wifi access; Was told what seemed to be bald faced fib: ‘We don’t know the password’. LOL.

Came here for a casual dinner on a week night and the service and food was fantastic. The spicy kalbi and bulgogi was by far my favourite. The charcoal griller adds a fun experience and gave the meat a smokey flavour
Despite of how busy they are, staff tried to attend to our table and the girl with the tattoo was very helpful and friendly.
Definitely will be going again. Highly recommend

My friends recommended me to Leega Korean BBQ, food was good but we waited nearly 20minutes!

The food was awful and too sweet just like putting a can of spirit in it. The service was even worse, you cannot get a clean plate or even a bottle of water from the bar, or the waitress with RED hair would say YOU ARE SO RUDE by twice.

The service was so slow that we couldn't wait long enough to give it a go. Would not recommend!

They only give you 80mins for you to dine. It took so long for them to serve the meat. Then it took so long for the meat to be cooked. The coals weren't fired up enough. We didn't get to finish everything we ordered because our time was up. ‍️ The servings of the sides were too little, we constantly had to ask the waitresses to give us more kimchi and etc.every few minutes. There were 2 of us dining but they only kept giving us 1 little saucer of cut up kimchi cabbage. The lettuce they served felt like they were thawed out from the freezer. They were soft and felt like they were close to rotting. We expected fresh crunchy lettuce for our korean bbq meal. Expensive and not worth it at all.

Food is ok. But it is so over priced! Customer services can be better. Overall tried once is enough.

I have been to many Korean BBQ in Melbourne and it's safe to say that I won't have it anywhere else than this place. Everything is well priced, great flavours and cooking, not to mention excellent service. It was worth the drive

Booked for a group on Tuesday night. It was packed. Ordered the food using the QR code on the table.

We enjoyed the food especially the kalbi. Side dishes were ok - pickled onion, spring onion, kimchi, cucumber and radish to go with the main dishes. However it was so busy we had to do all the cooking ourselves. There were about 3 waiters for the entire restaurant who hardly had time for us. They tried their best to be attentive and were very polite when we asked for more water/ drinks. The toilet needed some cleaning.

Overall nice food, service could be improved and ventilation for a kbbq restaurant could be better. It didn’t take away from the experience and we still had a fun time. Would come back.

Great space. Generous serves and easy service. Good flavours great buzz in the restaurant and it's only Tuesday evening!

I can't recommend this restaurant.

We booked for 9 people but the seating was only made for 8. When we asked for an extra table to accommodate 9 people, they insisted for one of our friends to sit in front of the hot hibachi grill instead.

Serving time is too long, the entree portion is too small for 9 people. The service water felt like it was straight from the tap and not even refrigerated. Also, the first batch of the charcoal already burnt-away before they can even give us tongs and scissors. I don't think there is an insufficient staff but maybe lack of training as they seemed to be unorganised and just running around.

They gave us a wrong grille to cook/bbq the pork which ended-up being to smokey burnt most of it then tried to ask us why we are using that grille. Like really? !

They missed one soup and when we asked for it after quite some time, instead of apologisong while my friend is explaining that one soup was not served yet, the wait staff just went away without finishing the conversation then 1 staff came back checking as if we were lying to them.

Few big hazards are: the rubbish bin is just outside near customers. Not only is that it's not so good to see, it is unhealthy as well (see pic attached). Also, the way the staff carry the burning charcoal, it is only a matter of time until a staff or a customer gets burned because they just carry it with some sort of tongs rather than stabilising it with a trolly. Imaging if a kid is runnig around or a busy staff is not mindful of their surroundings.

Finally the taste of their food were just average and the meats were not even that tender if I were to describe it generously. Not worth the wait and troubles.

An amazing experience. Food was delicious and staff were very prompt when serving food or when we needed assistance. It was quite a different atmosphere compared to other places I've been to in the past which made the experience even more enjoyable. Great place to enjoy some great food.

Staff were all very friendly and the prices were reasonable. Food was delicious, will definitely be back!

What a busy night for Leega. We'd like to say thank you to Selina, she's been so attentive and did her best to make sure we were able to have a great experience dining at Leega. Food was amazing and the rest of the staff were very helpful and accommodating. Great place! ️️️ We will be back for more!

Our server, Selina (tattooed sleeve), was awesome at attending to our needs despite the post covid rush causing people to wait extended periods of time.

She went out of her way to look after us and made sure that we were satisfied with both the food and the service.
