17 Worst Bahn mi in south east suburbs!
$10.worth less than $1
Crackle was microwaved, and pork was also microwaved, lacking all traditional flavours.
Cracked my tooth on the hard plastic like crackle.
Returned and got our money back.
Vietnam would be ashamed of this roll.
** I highly recommend Noos Noodles, just 6 minutes up the road**
Fresh bread rolls, delicious, then even have salad rolls, chicken rolls etc on the go. If you're in a hurry and on a budget this is the place to be.
I recently visited this bakery and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of their offerings. The prices were very reasonable, and the selection was what you would expect from any bakery.
However, what stood out for me was their delicious pork roll. It was made to perfection, with a crispy exterior and juicy interior, and was a welcome departure from the usual sweet treats I got for the kids. The bakery itself had a old, but cozy atmosphere, and the staff were friendly and helpful enough. Overall, I would recommend this bakery to anyone in the local area looking for a tasty and affordable option for breakfast or lunch. It's a great alternative to the bigger chains and worth giving a chance.
Pies and bread are fantastic. Prices are lower than other places as well. The bread here is some of the best I've had from anywhere.
Loved this bakery until recently.
The pies and the rolls seem fresh and do taste great. But the older lady is rude and doesn't seem to want to be there, she also makes up her own prices or is adding a bit extra for her pocket, she has ripped me off a few times and will make rolls on the small hotdog rolls, watch her, so shifty. I was spending between $15 and $60 a fortnight here but will not return now, had enough of her.
Used to buy here a lot till I seen all the pigeons fly out the van that transports between here n boronia shop
The party pies and bread rolls are very good. I had a cappuccino which was okay, but needed to be a bit stronger. Overall a good bakery with nice food and reasonably priced. The only negative is the older lady is not very friendly and doesn't smile. The younger staff member was very pleasant.
Love their bread. Buy in bulk for kids lunches. Not a big fan of their Vietnamese Pork Rolls - I've had better.probably best to add more pork, coriander and chili sauce. Have to have a crunchy baguette roll, no other roll will cut it. I've had better - sorry but that's the truth.
I noticed these guys are charging 50 cents extra for a $2.5 bread when you use credit cards. Which is 20% of the product and said it was the merchant fee. As far as I know the merchant fee was around 1.4% of the product. Not sure if this is legal! When I asked it the lady in the shop she really got angry and said this is how much we charge!
Pork bahn mi rolls are absolutely delicious, salad rolls fresh and tasty and a great price, pies and donuts also really good.
Absolutely love this place, have been going here 20 years and can’t fault it! Highly recommend the iced donuts! Lovely staff also:)
Fantastic bread, friendly service, way cheaper than supermarket bread and tastier. Our favourite is the Viennese loaf, we buy it every weekend for eggy breakfasts.
The sausage rolls are awesome and a good size bigger than other outlets for 2.80 i think there curry pies are great.the prices are lower than 4 other shops in the area.there is not much between them but lee lee, s beat on price and quality.
Pies are pretty good for the price you pay. Bread tastes fantastic, they could use more than 12 sesame seeds on-top of a roll though.
Sometimes the pies are a little under baked so you gotta be careful with eating them.
Look, I don't know about the rest of their offerings, but the pasties are terrible. It looks like a really nice little bakery, and I might try the bread one day, but I wouldn't recommend any meaty, savoury lunch items. The service was very friendly.
Really nice pies and pastries and the bread is always perfect and fresh and has been the same for over 25 years that I have been going there!
