Forget lining up down the road. The banh mi in traditional crusty roll here are excellent. Rice paper rolls are great too.

Lee lee hot bread has crispy hot and nice bread. I always have the crispy pork banh mi as the crispy pork is always crispy and hot. Super recommend for everyone!

This is my go-to! Thankful to have this place as my local (one of the many in the area). Tried them all but Lee Lee's Bahn Mi are the ones I daydream of. Oooofft

I've tried a few Crispy Pork Banh Mi's in Richmond, including those queues! But this place serves the best size and the pork Crackle and sauce/ patte is to die for, larger than most a bit more expensive but sensational with their crispy rolls, munch munch yum yum! Happy always!

Delicious ban mi with fresh veggies, crunchy pork, all in a bun the perfect balance between soft and crunchy. Lovely service as well and very well priced, will be visiting again soon!

Waaay tastier banh mi than the other more popular joint a few streets down. Crackling is way better, still wonderfully crispy but also light and airy. Most places prioritise the crackle but it gets really hard. Please consider going to them, even though, selfishly for me, it means there's no long queues!

I’ve eaten a lot of banh mi in my time but the banh mi at Lee Lee is by far THE BEST. The BBQ pork roll with crackling would be part of my last meal. The service is friendly. Their other bakery items and take away Vietnamese dishes are also delicious. AND they have EFTPOS!

Part of me was reluctant to write this review, because I love this place so much and think the crispy pork roll is the best banh mi in Melbourne in my opinion. Fresh ingredients, PACKED with meat, and the staff are always so, so friendly! I was reluctant because I like it being my little secret and also it being way easier to get one quickly than some of the other competitors who often have massive lines.

That being said, everyone needs to know this place and to check it out for themselves, and nothing would make me happier than to see Lee Lee’s with a huge line around the corner every day because they truly deserve it!

Great Vietnamese rolls. A little more expensive than I remember them being last time, but still great, and probably the best on Victoria Street now that the larger bakeries have shut down.

Great pork crackling banh mi, the rest of the range are also good. Much shorter lines recently than they few remaining post-COVID Victoria Street bakeries, but popularity is no guarantee of quality, and the reverse is also true.

Simply the best vietnamese sandwiches in Melbourne! The pork barbecue sandwich is to die for. Highly recommended.

Pretty good Banh Mi place, cheaper than the more famous bakery on the Victoria St. Tried the bbq pork and meatball Banh Mi, and both are tasty. Also tried their sticky rice with chinese sausage, pretty delicious and generous with the meat.

On a sunny weekend morning you can spot the hectic long line of people waiting to get Phuoc Thanh’s infamous Bahn mi from a mile away, but just next door Lee Lee Hot Bread is quietly and unassumingly loading up delicious, fully packed bahn mis that are just as good as Phuoc Thanh’s but with zero fuss or wait time. An underrated Bahn mi place which has been overshadowed by its famous neighbour, but well worth a try!

Great place for Viet rolls and some ready made meals like rice paper rolls and sticky rice. They also sell freshly baked bread. Great for takeaway meals and they open early even on weekends so I often pick up meals before a road trip or picnic:)
