Leaps n Beats Dance

Lovely studio who care about bringing the joy of dance to all kids. My daughter had so much fun and she improved a lot over her almost two years.

My now 4 yr old has loved her classes with Miss Bec, they’ve been a very engaging and fun introduction to dance!

My daughter has done over 12 months with Leaps and Beats and has loved every minute of it. Miss Kylie teaches her class and is an exceptional teacher, our daughter talks about her (and pretends to be miss kylie) between classes and is super excited when we get to see her. She cares and supports each child and understands how to get young kids involved. It is about the kids enjoying movement, music and independence. It is fun and friendly.
Paris is also fantastic to deal with and has been very supportive through some very difficult times.
Would recommend to anyone with a little person in their life.

We have been dancing here for a while now and are so beyond happy with the classes. My daughter loves them so much. Miss Kylie is the kindest and funniest teacher who is just wonderful with the kids. Highly recommend!

My girls have thoroughly enjoyed dancing with Miss Bec this year. They have gained so much confidence and Miss Bec is super patient with all the girl chats the class want to have with her! Paris is always accomodating of makeup classes and it’s a great environment & class structure. Highly recommend it!

Leaps n Beats has been fabulous for my daughter. I was looking for for a fun, relaxed environment for my daughter to learn and am so pleased to have found Leaps n Beats and Miss Paris. My daughter has learned so much, but more importantly, she just really loves going each week. I love that rather than a concert, there is a watching week at the term to go along to class and see them perform the dances they have learned.

The teachers are very friendly and the dancing equipment is so cute! Paris is very patient with the girls, and the class is so fun! My 4 year old daughter loves it!

Leaps and Beats has been such a wonderful experience for me and my toddler. They offer structure and independence with a whole lot of flexibility. They are really accommodating when my child is sick to have make up classes. They are super understanding of me bringing my infant to just hang there while my toddler and I do the class. And Miss Kylie is absolutely amazing with my crazy distracted toddler.

This is a fantastic dance school, relaxed and about learning dance. Miss Paris is a fantastic teacher and made my daughter instantly comfortable. Highly recommended.

My two year old was in a mums and bubs class with Miss Kylie for the past few terms. The environment that is created at Leaps and Beats is so good, it’s all about enjoyment for both child and parent. At the end of the term my little one was picking up the songs and dance moves and even practicing being on her tippy toes around the house! Thank you Miss Kylie and Miss Paris!

Leaps N Beats has been a wonderful introduction to dance for my little girl. She was understandably uncomfortable at her first-ever group class, but under Paris’ encouragement and fun program, has blossomed over the weeks. I’ve really enjoyed attending the classes with my daughter, and getting to see her confidence and love for music and movement grow. Paris has also been great at navigating the challenges of lockdown, conducting Zoom classes, and also very kindly organized a virtual “party” for her dancers. Thank you for a lovely space for us to grow in, and to celebrate the joys of dancing!

We’ve been dancing at Leaps n Beats for several years now and highly recommend it as a professional yet relaxed dance school. Our daughter has grown in confidence, and is enjoying learning new technique and styles of dance. Mrs Paris’ style with the kids is so kind and encouraging, but she keeps her standards high so the kids get the most out of each class. Lovely family atmosphere, where parents can watch (pre covid restrictions) and there is no set uniform or make up. Highly recommended.

Miss Paris and Miss Kylie have adjusted to current circumstances and continue to provide quality online classes. It's the highlight of our week. Inclusive, welcoming, and open to all who have an interest in dance or music. We love that there's no pressure and such a fun environment for the children and parents too.

Leaps and Beats offers a fun environment to introduce young children to dance. We have enjoyed our classes and are looking forward to returning.

We love everything about this dance school. From the way the wonderful Mrs. Paris engages and communicates with the kids to provide not just dance but other valuable lessons to take back home, to an all round really fun and safe place for kids to develop confidence. Can't recommend enough - Well done guys!

Our daughter goes to the Parents and Bubs class and absolutely loves it! The classes are so well-run, welcoming and so much fun for her. After just a month, we have seen our shy daughter grow in confidence and she gets so excited about her classes. Our lovely teacher Miss Kylie holds the attention of a room of 1-3 year olds with a class program that is really fun and engaging and easy to follow dance moves that are perfect for the age. The class has helped our daughter learn to follow instructions, helped her have fun with dance and music and develop these skills, and given us fun dance and music activities that we replicate at home.

I also really love the values of this dance school - all kids are welcomed and treated with kindness, warmth, respect and encouragement, each child is greeted by name and individually encouraged by name during the class and given a special thank you and sticker at the end by our wonderful teacher Miss Kylie. I also love how inclusive the school is - the focus is on having fun and being yourself - boys and girls are all welcomed, so are mums and dads, and kids in the class are free to wear what they are comfortable in. I also love that there is no end of year concert with makeup on three year olds like the dance schools I knew growing up! We are so happy and grateful to have found Leaps and Beats and our daughter just loves it!
