Le Voltaire Bistro Francais

Easily my most favourite restaurant! While they have a magnificent menu, the specials are just so exciting that I'll just have to keep coming back and working through both!

Was authentic which was great, but they didn't have enough staff to handle the capacity and the food was overpriced for what we received.

Been here quite a few times, always thought it was great but was a bit disappointed thus time, don't know if it was our food choices or they were having an off night.

Sometimes it's the little thing that matter, meals were great but I was quite disappointed when I asked for not bread that they wormy give any. It's only bread and if customer and for something as simple as that then why spoil their experience.

Lovely restaurant great ambience beautiful food and very good service. Limited vegetarian options and no vegan options that we could see. Beautiful selection of wines.

Dining at Le Voltaire never disappoints! The steak is always superb. Last night I tried the Clafoutis for dessert. It was delightful. Staff and atmosphere match the quality of the food and wine.

Wow, the service, the food, take your pick, it was unbelievable.

I will definitely be visiting again and next time with a group of friends.

A favourite for our family. Great food and wine. Reasonably priced given the quality of the food. We have been here many times and find that when the senior Chef is not on the final product can be a little more variable - we therefore tend to stick to the busier Fridays and Saturdays to ensure he is there.

Lovely dining experience.so many people I spoke to didn't realise it was even there. A gem in the hills. Get in there now before you have to wait months to get a table!
