I had the lychee and Black Forest. The latter being a bit better.
Both were very average, nothing to rave about. Flavours didn’t stand out and weren’t memorable. Definitely not comparable to any patisserie in France or EU. I think the price is quite reasonable for 2024.

I personally prefer LuxBite instead.

Their cakes are something else. The taste will take you to Paris! If you want to experience authentic French dessert, try their cakes. After having their cake at an office party, I visited their shop to purchase the same cake. Sadly, they close too early, and they don't even open on weekends. So pretty inconvenient when it comes to their timetable and service, but their cakes are out of this world. They're expensive too! As I don't work near their shop anymore, I never got the chance to buy from here.

Got the brownie passionfruit cake for wife's birthday. Ordered few days in advanced through e-mail before travel (we are on holiday). Easy communication and polite staff. Family loved it, yummy and perfectly balanced!

One of the best hot chocolates I've ever had, there was also a gluten free selection which is nice.

Best hot chocolate in Melbourne and their orange flavoured hot chocolate is a must! Also they have amazing cakes.

The cafe is a rare commodity in the city these days… reasonably priced, decent coffee and comfortable surroundings. The staff were friendly and efficient and the food was much more delicious than expected!

Excellent Hazelnut Mille Foile. Tiny but tasty. Cup of tea was great too. Most cafes dont get them right

This is a little hidden gem in Melbourne's CBD. They serve very eye catching cakes which are trully delightful to the palate. Their coffee is equally satisfying. Service is on point. The place is small, intimate and not too loud. Customers respect each others space and time. Yes, I took time to enjoy my cake and it made me happy.

If you want to experience European quality cakes that will give the best of Vienna and Paris a run for their money try Le Petit Gateau. Coffee is also yummy.

Really tasty sweet treats. The pear danish was half a day old by the time I got around to eat it and it still tasted fresh. It was just the right amount of sweet and it came with half a pear on top. Of course there was a custard surprise too. I also tried their passionfruit brownie which was just next level. I am definitely impressed with Le Petit Gateau.

A hidden gem and a must visit cake shop with a great atmosphere and staff if you’re in the CBD! The passion fruit brownie cake is delicious!

Very helpful and welcoming staff here, and the coffee was top notch. I also purchased a Lychee Rasperry cake that was definitely among the best cakes I've eaten in Melbourne. I highly recommend this cake shop.

Lychee Raspberry Cake tasted refreshing, a bit of tanginess and just right sweetness. The base of the cake however sticked to the cake board and sliced cake was difficult to be removed.
