Le Meridien Melbourne

Stayed in Rm 311, no sleep as we were near the bottle bins that were being filled regularly during the night. Needs to be soundproofed. Bed was a bit too hard for me. Very expensive for the experience!

We stayed for 1 night, in superior room. The hotel location was perfect, close to all amenities. Unfortunately the beds were horrible, so firm I had the worst experience and couldn’t barely walk the next day with severe back pain. Why would a new hotel purchase such firm hard mattresses? Disappointed but staff service was good and enjoyed breakfast and dinner.

I love everything about this hotel. From the sparkling served at the reception to the service to our room and the daily housekeeping definitely made our trip to Melbourne a memorable one. Each and every staffs were kind, respectful and helpful. This is the best hotel I've stayed with in my life. Thank you very much!

As a Titanium member I was expecting more from Le Meridien. The breakfast was the worst buffet I've had in Australia. Many things looked like they had been sitting for a long time, were not hot, and the bacon looked quite underdone. The fruits were pretty good, and the free sparkling wine was nice. I found the service to be okay, at times it was indifferent, and later in the evening it was difficult to reach the front desk via phone. The rooms are the best thing about this hotel, and that is what my 4 stars are for.

Went for a Superior room as they advertised it as having seperate bath and shower. It didnt have a bath. The response was "sorry", and that they'll make a note on my profile for needing one NEXT TIME.

Bed sheet definitely wasn't changed. Hair and strong BO from the previous occupant.
After a long flight and shower, I simply couldn't be bothered.

Beautiful hotel, great service from valet, front desk and house keeping. The bathroom is well designed, good amenities provided and the shower has good pressure and controls. Beds are comfortable with great bedding. The marble table and chairs are practical. Very good light and curtains controls, easy and convenient.

Location is great as well, close to everything including public transit.

Only thing is breakfast is very average unfortunately and a bit expensive

Expecting the classic Le Meridien however the dirty floors really spoiled the experience. And the simple hotel response showed limited care for feedback and customer experience.

Fantastic location in the heart of CBD. We stayed 8 nights and my 10 Y. O son particularly loved the heated pool. Furniture in the room was sufficient for the extended stay. I just wish there was more places to hang things in the bathroom.

Our needs and requests were met promptly except for housekeeping. Some days the room was not made up even after being out for half a day. But the request for housekeeping was attended to immediately.

Great location. Absolutely the worst check in experience I’ve ever had. Rude arrogant staff member, no customer service skills. No real lobby bar, not much vibe in the hotel at all. Lovely rooms - but tiny. Won’t be back.

The staff at Le Meridien were absolutely wonderful during my stay (Big shoutout to Chris with the front office) - very helpful and always greeted me by name. Food and amenities onsite were also wonderful, and location is central to great food, theater, and shopping. Would highly recommend!

Spent a great time

Hotel was awesome if going to see Mamma Mia, plenty of restaurants open after the show at that end if town to get dinner, but only one place to get breakfast in the morning in little Burke directly behind the hotel called Little Gordon if you don't want to eat at the hotel.

Loved our time here. We had a great view overlooking Parliament house and the park. Room was spacious with a nice bath to relax. Definitely try to make it downstairs to Dolly and get a cocktail from Jordan. Very knowledgeable and makes a mean Negroni.

Stylish new hotel tastefully done in keeping with its history. Great location and some of the best staff I’ve come across

Sorry- deleted all photos. Great and friendly service. New hotel, so new staff - maybe shows in the lack of experience, but super friendly and helpful. Excellent location - the old Metro (?) - with so much public transport right outside the front door. Rooms are very comfy and well equipped. Mini bar is horrendously expensive - avoid like the plague! Pool it's great - mid-20s temp, but best when sunny. The floating beanbags are awesome! Outdoor BBQ next to pool is genius.
