Fish was horrible, flake had a scale in it. And no salt whatsoever won't be returning again

Me & my partner always get our fish & chips from this shop.
The fish especially grilled is absolutely delicious all of our family love it as well when they visit.
Great service with a smile always.

Got the HSP for the first time from here after coming here for around 2 years now and the meat is great and the garlic sauce was great to but needed more.the other sauce on it was i think a sweet and hot sauce and it literally nearly put a 4th hole in me.it was so dam spicy and hot i did not enjoy it.but everything else about it was peaty solid! This fish and chip shop is great little place to come down after work with the kids.although the quality of the food depends on the time.late last year it was a bit busy and when i came home with the food the chips were dry and soggy some how.but going there a week later they were great!

The food was disgusting, soggy, and full of fat. The fish is not flake that was soggy the dim sim could not eat full of fat.and the chips was like eating cardboard. We live only a min away this is the worst place I have ever eaten I will never go back.
Please be aware of what you buy here. The food is not good.the potato cake was not edible. In fact, I did eat the insert of the fish as I was hungry. I threw the batter away. The fish was grose. I threw it in the Bin.

I bought the second biggest Chicken Burger I have ever had and it was delicious.
I have been back several times now as I determined to try every menu item.

This is one of the best lamb kabab and chicken wings I ever had. The owner Eddie is nice guys and he is good in his job.

My original comment was: Good burgers and of course fish and chips> Menu now revamped so food is fresher. Nice Greek options as well. I've seen some of the ordinary reviews. I wonder if it depends on the cook. Andy works daytime and the food is always great, even vetted by his mother!

I'm a fishlover who grew up right on the water in Queensland. It's hard to find good fish and chips in Victoria, but I highly rate this place. Fish is nice and fresh, not overbattered, the seafood salad is fantastic, calamari is crumbed not battered. Everything is great. Highly recommend the seafood pack at La Flake Attaque!

The food definitely isn't amazing. I really wanted to like them since they are local so gave them a couple of tries but the chips and potato cakes had a weird fish tinge and things just weren't cooked very well or were over cooked. Unfortunately my last time ordering from here.

What an absolute disgrace, Ordered 2 pieces of Flake (received 2 pieces of mass produced triangle shaped whiting). Potato Cakes = Raw, Chips = Starchy and Iridescent yellow, scallops = dough balls and to top it off let's throw in a soft pickled onion. But wait there is more, sweet bottled dressing on a Greek Salad - I will be returning but only for my refund

Greek owned, Greek run and everything cooked with Greek love. Fantastic food served from a clean shop. Staff and owner are very friendly and inviting. Highly recommend.

Great old school fish and chips. Super clean shop. Cooked by a pro. Best chips and gravy I've ever had. Can't recommend this place moor.

So I ordered the lunch pack, 1 'Flake', Potato cake, chips and Dim Sim. So the "Flake" was a very Large Birds Eye Fish Fillet in batter, I mean literally the same triangle cut shape, batter and taste. I keep them in the freezer for lazy nights, I would know. So NOT Flake, the Birds Eye box says wild caught Hoki or something, why bother! So does anywhere in Melbourne sell REAL Flake in batter anymore?

Spectacular food! Super fresh and the batter (made from scratch and dipped while you watch) is the lightest, crispiest coating over succulent fish, muscles and scallops. Fresh Salads are a delicious addition, with a generous serve and dressing optional. Service is very friendly and generous extras provided, like fresh lemon wedges and extra treats. This is outstanding value for money and takes this fish & chip shop better than 5 star. Truly scrumptious!

First time here a couple of weeks ago.
Service was a-grade and really friendly.
Food was really nice and not oily. Grilled fish had a nice coating and very tender, chips were nice and crisp and servings were generous.
We will be returning.
