Lazzat Kadah reviews
51Very very nice food and great service but sadly, not always consistent. I would still recommend this any day of the week though.
Best Pakistani/Indian restaurant in Australia! Great customer service, cleanliness, not to mention we were not waiting long for food!
Highly recommend at an affordable price.
Had a really bad experience…. Service is very slow, there’s no manager…. Very dull atmosphere or you can say none. Took them an hour to prepare two curries and couple of naans
The staff is so immature with no proper system to take orders…
Don’t recommend anyone to try
Great service, beautiful ambience and outstanding buffet iftar with lots of variety and taste. Truly enjoyed tonight.
Rediculous, just shame on you Jawad owner of this place, they always play tricks and then try to satisfy with dumb games and silly smiles.
Their Ramadan buffet is amazing! Highly recommended
I've never had one visit there where their food wasn't amazing
Traditional and authentic taste with excellent service. Palak paneer, rotis, and naans were delicious. The lamb karahi was scrumptious, topped up with Desi ghee. The owner made sure that it was customised to the required spice level. Will surely visit again.
Food is always delicious, very generous porions, we always leave satisfied.
Staff are always friendly, Can't fault food or service at all.
My only complaint would be, that the place needs A LOT of dusting, couldn't help but notice the thick black dust on the ceiling fan and on the aircon.
Best restaurant in town.
We were given the whole restaurant with the best cuisine in the buffet form and stylish decor for a Nikkah ceremony. The ambiance was awesome and the staff was super friendly and supportive.
We had a great time.
Very busy place for good reason, great service, amazing food, authentic flavours from India and Pakistan, price isn't too bad considering the great level of service and amazing food, highly regard and highly recommend
Worse service, very very ordinary food. It’s not worth it with money they are charging.
Asking for cash payment. Did extra reservation even one person was sitting on the cash counter and having food there.
Really bad ambiance. You need to wait in the long queue to get the food.
We asked either you have a prayer area and the owner said yes however guys are praying on the footpath.
It was a big mistake to choose this restaurant.
It’s not even worth to give the one star as well.
Went there for the buffet, which was $40 a head. Food was not worth $40, and ran out. Food was cold and unappetising. Setup was extremely unhygienic and they ran out of cutlery. Serving spoons were mixed up for the desserts- no separation. When asking for a spoon to eat with (since they ran out of spoons, bowls and forks), man at the counter pulled it out from under a table and gave it- it still had crusty pieces of food stuck on it…
Vibe of place was claustrophobic and messy. Tables for different diners were almost touching each other. Carpet had food mashed on it. Floor was sticky with dropped liquids. Desserts ran out half way. Just an overall disgusting feeling and I would never come back to it or recommend it to anyone.
They did not accept card even though when we asked him initially he said they did. Man at the paying counter was extremely rude, and showed no hospitality whatsoever. Yelled at my friend when some of our friends who reserved with us did not show up, and yelled that “someone had to pay anyway, ” even though only a couple of us actually ate.
I usually tell everyone about Lazzat - the food is usually amazing (best Butter chicken out there). But we went during the Ramadan Iftar Buffet, and was extremely disappointed (second year in a row).
The food in the buffet isnt as nice as it is when you go there on a normal day. Taste is completely different (maybe because they need to make bigger quantity and rush etc). Nan bread is soggy and flavourless. A lot of the food missing the flavours and spices they usually have. I wouldn't ever go to the Buffet again - absolute waste of money. But thats not the main reason of disappointment.
They charged $25 for kids (who only eat a bite or two of finger food nuggets etc). That felt like a rip off. Adults were $40. To top it off, we wanted to claim the Vic Gov Dining rebate, and that was the reason we still went with the expensive prices. To my surprise they removed the Eftpos machine, which i think was on purpose for tax reasons. So we couldn't get any receipt and couldnt claim the 25% rebate.
Finally, it happens every year. People fill their tables with the sweets from the beginning, before eating normal food. Because they're afraid they will miss out on the sweets later. So in the end you end up missing out on the sweets because all the people have done that. Its a mess in there with all the people overcrowded and not much room to move or enjoy your food.
Note: On normal days (not the ramadan Buffet) - the food is amazing and authentic, i have never tasted better indian/pakistani food (and ive tried heaps of places). I will still go to this restaurant and if you haven't tried it, i recommend you do.
I went to this restaurant after at least 12 years. The guy was upset with me because I wanted to pay before my takeaway food was ready.apparently I was interrupting them from serving other customer.perhaps I wasn't a customer. I was just a random annoying lost lady.who came to disturb them. Sorry. Won't come back.
Visited the place today, and the worst place to have an Iftari. Poor service and the quality of food was below average. Literally saw people eating at the payment counter.
Not a good experience. The place was overbooked, and crowded with people waiting in long queues to get the food. And the food was tasteless and below ordinary. Big thumbs down, not worth it at all.
Been getting lamb vindaloo and garlic naan and butter chicken here for decades now. Always very satisfied, always good staff and it stands out above the rest of the restaurants in the area I reckon. Good stuff.
Very bad food. I was really excited for the biryani as I thought a Pakistani restaurant would serve good biryani, but no. Could have at least told me that I was getting flavourless, watery, potato rice!
Today was my first time in this place with some friends. The food is so tasty, fresh, and the price is so attractive. Was a such great experience.
Worst place to eat with family, went with family ordered food and waited for 1 hr but didn get the ordered food.
