Great takeaway tonight. Beef Rendang, Prawn Dumplings, Prawn and Tofu soup, Vege Spring rolls. Yum! Will do it all again sometime.

Lazat laksa is the best I’ve had in Melbourne thus far. And I’ve tried quite a few places.

Have ordered from this store three times in the last 12 months and all three orders have been messed up. They have repeatedly skipped out on giving us items or swap it out for something else without any attempt to contact us. Any attempt to order more than 1 serving of Hainanese Chicken Rice has been altered and they always claim to not have enough for more than one serve. Management attempts to play dumb when you complain about it and contradict themselves repeatedly.

Delicious Rendang, best I've tasted. Lovely spice and heat. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere to talk with others.

We were so impressed with both the food and the service.

Nice place to eat, the food was tasty and portions generous. Very reasonably priced and we were served fairly quickly.

We will be back and bring people with us next time!

At the restaurant, I had a wonderful time eating delicious meals. Although the atmosphere there was lovely and the service was excellent, trying Malaysian food was a truly wonderful experience!

First fail: we were told to write down our orders on a piece of paper ourselves.
Second fail: we ordered "roti canai" and were given what was clearly store bought frozen roti prata.
Food was okay, I wouldn't consider this an authentic Malaysian restaurant. Slow and poor service.

Awful. Despite asking 3 times to ensure no meat in the curry, was given curry with chicken.
Quality of food terrible. Appears to have bought frozen products and simply heated on stove. Not authentic. Had to throw away the takeaway and order ubereats

Horrible. Just went to this restaurant and upon asking multiple times if a dish contains meat (because the listed ingredients only had prawns in it) and been told no and then specially asking that it needs to be strictly seafood and no meat. I got served a dish with pork pieces in it. Upon asking the lady again she double checked and said there was no meat and then I proceeded to take a piece of meat put it in a tissue and said could u go ask what this is? And she come back and said hope u didnt eat it because its pork. What the? The kitchen had the audacity to shout out from there saying well tthe dish doesnt have meat but thats just the sauce! What kind of no meat do u not understand? Then they proceeded to make me a vegetarian fried rice with prawns an they clearly microwaved the prawns because I saw it. But they couldnt even manage that because I got a fried rice dish with prawns that were cold inside. Yuck! I had a few bites and left it there. Never going to back to any of the restaurants in this chain. Horrible and the service was horrid from all parties. Sorry But the standard of communication must be lifted to much much higher than this.

Thank you for being honest when I asked if the restaurant serve halal food or not. I am not ur customer as u don't serve halal option but still I give u 5 stars for friendly customer service n honesty. Thank you.

Absolutely horrible service! They need to get some one who can understand English while take orders, we ordered and received totally different items, without customer service, you will not go far! Please train staff for a better service!

Horrible place. They do not know how to take orders and make a whole mess out of it. Make sure they understand your order well or else you will be in for a big surprise.

First time trying the place and it was really Great, clean, friendly Asian place to be. Definitely going to come back

Just ordered a nasi Goreng, special fried rice, belachen beans, samba calamari and some chicken wings as entrees. Will never buy again from there as we were short changed with the portions. The calamari and beans were only half a container. The food was really mediocre for the $72 that we spent.

Delicious and authentic Malaysian food, big portions and a very reasonable price. Great service too.

Just got the food from Lazat Malay on Keilor road.
The food is amazing on top of that theres a guy Glasses one hes so kind and amazing person. Thanks man really appreciate it.

Loved the food and it was very satisfying, the staff were very friendly and helpful in choosing the perfect dish, overall value for money and especially preferred for spicy food!

Food was good and staff were nice but they stuffed up our order the whole night and took a really long time to make the food.

Ordered the Chicken Curry Laksa and was not disappointed. Delicious broth and generous portion size. Will be back to try out their other dishes in future.

Very good value lunch menu, main course and a drink for around $10. A little dark inside, but this adds to the ambience:) authentic flavours too, I love the hainnanese chicken rice.
