Lavezzi Gelateria - Carlton

We had such delicious ice cream here today for the first time. We devoured the pistachio, dark chocolate, salted caramel, lemon sorbet and strawberry jam flavours. Extremely generous portions, reasonable prices and friendly helpful service staff. We'll definitely be back here again! Thank you for a wonderful ice cream treat for me & the kids

My absolute favorite gelati place on Logan Street. My favorite is the pistachio as it doesn’t have the artificial pistachio flavor and is so smooth.

I would highly recommend this place on local Street for ice cream and gelati. The choices of flavor are endless, and I will guarantee that you will not know what to choose because everything tastes amazing.

I recently visited Ruby and Monique's ice cream store and I must say, it was an amazing experience! First off, the customer service was absolutely awesome. Ruby and Monique were both incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home as soon as I walked in. They were more than happy to offer recommendations and answer any questions I had.

But what really impressed me was the quality of the ice cream. I tried a few different flavors and they were all so delicious and flavorful! The ice cream had just the right amount of sweetness and creaminess, and the texture was perfect. I also appreciated that they offer the option to try again if you're not satisfied with your first choice.

On top of that, the store itself is really cute and well-designed. It's clear that Ruby and Monique have put a lot of care and attention into creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for their customers.

Overall, I would highly recommend Ruby and Monique's ice cream store to anyone looking for a tasty treat and excellent customer service. Thank you Ruby and Monique for such a wonderful experience!

Perfect created flavours with quality ingredients, plus great customer service. The Amarena black cherry gelato was sensational. Love it!

Super yummy gelato You can tell it is authentic Italian gelato because it is covered too. Highly recommend!

Why waste your precious time queuing down the road at Pidapipo, when Lavezzi is only a hop up the street? Those in the know are well-aware that the gelati here is just a good (a special mention of their in-house 'monella', as well as their fruit sorbets). Service is always friendly, and the fact that there is rarely ever a queue is the second best thing to the deliciousness of their gelato.

Since they changed their chef, the quality of the icecream has reduced. The peanut butter and monella, a favourite for years, suddenly became too nutty and with little monella. Kinderella had the same path - the amount of monella on the recipe was reduced significantly, turning it into a chocolate hazelnut and vanilla mixed icecream.

Not the first place in mind to go for icecream anymore.

Try to order melted chocolate inside the cone (instead of on the top of the icecream) for a pleasant surprise at the end of your desert.

I had the opportunity to taste test flavours before buying and I was immediately sold on the fist flavour I tried; Honeycomb Crunch! I had a fantastic experience here and the ice cream was AMAZING and totally reasonably priced for such a great treat!

Great flavours with lots of bits inside if you pick those flavours, if anything it's slightly on the sweeter side, could do with slightly less sugar.

They hv mini cups for $4, single $5.50, double $7 and triple for $8.50. Black Sesame is interesting. Espresso and pistachio was nice. Will be back to try the other flavours.

The ice cream is amazing here, I know how it can be overlooked on Lygon st, but the ice cream is so creamy (no icy crystals) flavourful and they have too many varieties to count. The staff are super friendly and bubbly, they seem to really care about their customers. Small number of seats inside, parking can be a nightmare, try the surrounding streets and just walk here.

Very delicious and authentic Italian gelato. This family owned business has been making gelato for more than 150 years, we absolutely love their pistachio, bacio, strawberry and mango flavours! The sorbet was so refreshing, their pistachio and bacio were creamy and not too sweet! Their gelato is so yummy, will come back to try another flavours

In a market that’s saturated with so many great ice cream locations, Lavezzi does not disappoint. I got the pistachio ice cream and Gahd dayum, it was so good. It was really creamy and the pistachio flavour was so strong and intense. It could do with a bit of texture in the ice cream but it is fantastic as is. Would definitely come here again for ice cream.

It’s a good place.

For my tastebuds Dulce de Leche and pistachio were both a bit too milky and sweet, but everyone likes different things.

We have been here many times. And for Sweet thing on Valentine's day. The ice cream is very good.

The special Matcha ice cream is very delicious. Hopefully they will bring back the matcha ice cream to Carlton store even after the Lunar New Year has passed.
The pistachio and bacio is always very nice. Hope they can do the blue cheese ice cream or something more savoury sweet like Olive Oil ice cream or Keso flavour in the new ice cream shop Kariton Sorbetes. But the texture and creaminess of Lavezzi is still better and probably the best in Melbourne so far.

Pistachio was very tasty the color was to green to be real pistachio, real pistachio suppose to be more brown, the flavour change alot since the place has open.
