Laverton Market reviews
67It's an amazing market, it has so much varities to pick from, really big market and entry fee is $2 for walking. Recommend coming here.
Disapoi ted with it. I understand the weather hampered the outside stalls but prob 50% inside not open
Laverton market is the place to find cheap stuff. I mean any stuff.
Tools, clothes, shoes, necklaces, etc.
Parking is $5 but once your in there is a lot to see.
There is also a lot of food you can get. Specially vegetables.
They also have a section with a few restaurants and take away. Where you can get pizzaa, hot dog, Vietnamese food, etc.
Its a good place to visit once in a while.
It’s the first time I’ve set up a stall here and it’s also the last time I’ve been here. I can say that the environment is really bad! I hope my friends don’t fall into the trap!
It's a big market. Entrance fee is 2 dollars per person. Many shops have similar items for sale. The price is not much different from what can be bought everywhere. Came around 2 p.m. And many of the shops were already closed.
Great place to shop save money only down fall wish they would make the place smoke free/vape fee zone hate toxic waste in my mouth lungs respect everyone's airspace
Smaller now but still convenient. Been coming here for quite some time and been buying a few things here and there. Hopefully they don't shut down completely as a few stores have unfortunately been halted.
No idea what the appeal is. Carpark is a mud pit. $2 entry to access reclaimed junk. The few hot food stalls are about as appealing as the (limited) not so fresh produce. Second visit, and twice left empty handed and empty hearted.
There were very few stores available, possibly due to the weather. The market has increased the entrance fee, from $1 per person. It's now $2 per person. 100% increase.it's a market! It should be free to get in, after all. The market does charge stall holders. Maybe I will now go to markets that are free to get it.
The worst market in Melbourne. The owner has increased entrance fees by 100% and all the good stalls are gone. Rude at gate should be ashamed of themselves.
Sells literally everything, (not necessarily genuine), but it is AMAZINGLY cheap for prices and sells all varieties of food, clothing, and entertainment. They fix screens, make photo frames and banners and quite frankly, everything.
Saw some 270s for $100.wow
Tasty food, products for very cheap prices, and lots of toys.
Would recommend to anyone.
Make sure to pack a sunscreen.
Laverton market is the best flee market for buying & selling in all of Victoria.
Laverton market is surely better than the queen Victoria market because Laverton has more parking availability.
Second to none.

Great place to shop for literally everything. The fruit and veggies there actually taste good, compared to supermarket fruit which can often be insipid. Tons of people selling plants at a cheap price and all sorts of trinkets. Only downside is that you have to pay to get in. It used to be $1 and now it is $2. Plus the owner of the land is increasing the charge to people who sell their goods there. The owners get rich quick scheme off the work of the honest people who sell there can pose a risk to the continued success of the market.

Not much there was pretty empty, things that I wanted to grab couldn't find them. Today was a waste of my time.
Entry price has doubled in price to $2.
Was accosted by gate staff for not having a gold coin to pay. I do not understand the attitude and rudeness of the staff at the entry point. I was also told NOT TO COME BACK UNLESS I HAD gold coins to pay entry.
Will not be coming back here!
Since the upgrade of Leaks Rd access to the market from Fitzgerald Rd end is a nightmare. People are doing illegal right hand turn on Leaks Rd to go to the market. The second entrance is for out going cars.so those that pay $5 to park at the Westside hotel will have to walk to the main entrance. Good luck.
Gold coins only! The woman at the front so rude! I'm not sure how you can justify charging people to actually walk through those gates! Disgrace!
I lurched between 3-4 stars but opted for the lower rating. The positives include 1. An awesome array of food carts /caravans etc (Sometimes that's my key reason on going) 2. A very large market with many stalls offering many treasures/trash. Negatives include way too many regular dealers and not enough general sellers just trying to flog off their old stuff. And depending where you park you are either faced with a bitumen road surface that resembles the moon (Pot holes everywhere both big and very large) or if you park in the free parking alongside the market on the dirt, you also have the thrills and spills of both potholes but wonderfully bad rises and gullys that only 4WD enthusiasts would find comfortable parking there.
Great variety. Sometimes overpriced items though. Paid parking is great for only $5 but such a hassle to exit.
