Tried the Kew store after a bad experience at the Balwyn store, hoping they would be better. Unfortunately, it was worse. Staff chatted to each other at the register while they kept me waiting. No smile, nothing to greet me when they finally looked up. No thank you for the business.
The cakes we bought tasted stale. At $12 per cake this isn’t what you expect.
It feels like Laurent has dropped the ball on staff training and service. There doesn’t appear to be any management or quality control of the stores.
