My whole family got food poisoning from eating here. Fish smelled really off couldn’t eat it. It wasn’t flake it had the worst smell and was slimy and rubbery. Scallops also smelled off. Calamari was almost completely raw. Only thing that was barely edible was the chips. Ate a little bit of the “fish” whatever it was and still got super sick. I wouldn’t eat from here again if someone paid me

We picked up take away for dinner while at a friends house and MY GOD. Everything was horrible and went in the bin. The chips were chalky and stale, the flake was not flake. My husband got a seafood pack and the fish in that pack was off. The stench coming from the fish was horrible we knew it was off straight away and was not fresh. It was rubber in texture, tasted so horrible and the smell was disgusting. The lamb souvlaki was full of hard fat bits, made it basically unbeatable. My husband has been vomiting since. This place should be shut down and not in business. They will kill someone soon with their off food.

I just bought 550gms of fresh flake (6x small pieces) at this shop and paid the equivalent of $76 per kg. For flake! Disgraceful.

They tried to scam me my friends and we had to ask 2 for our change then when we got our food they kicked us out and we were the only people there

I ordered through here on UberEats and the food came within 20 minutes which was fantastic however we ordered flake and we most definitely did not receive flake, the potato cakes were tiny, the chips were soggy and overcooked and they put our coke drinks in the bag with the hot food.tasted purely of oil also.not impressed

My friend and l popped into Lauras. Sadly the worst fish and potato cakes we have ever tasted. The batter was tasteless The chips were ok.

Best fish and chips ever. I’ve been going there for years! I order out for parties and when guests come over.

Chips are cooked nice but still avoid this takeaway as much as I can

This shop has gone from being great before covid lockdowns to horrible.got a lunch pack recently. Walked into the shop and oil smelt old and food tasted like the oil smelt, overcooked the potato cakes had the thinnest slice of potato, chips were a dry texture the fish wasn't shark. We ate some of the chips and laughed at the potato cake thinness then when I picked up the fish found it to be oil soaked.went back returned it and got a refund, TOLD OWNER FOOD WASN'T FIT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION

Just got lunch, sent young bloke to get it, scallops burnt, patato cakes burnt, fish burnt full of oil, old oil i think, they are scallops in photo

So oily! Weird smell too the chips. Last time we got chips here I felt really sick after. Thought maybe a fluke but ordered for dinner last night and our daughter up vomiting all night. Won’t be back.

Fantastic fish and chip shop! Gluten free options were delicious and the homemade dim sims were so tasty! Would definitely stop in again if I'm ever in the area!

Separate gluten free fryer, so it's our localish fish and chip shop. Easiest and best outcome is to call ahead, and pickup, uber eats etc seems to be a big challenge as indicated by other reviews. They are a small family business, always trying to improve. Gluten free chips, flake, potato cakes and scallops are recomended. Gf Dimsims not really. Best time to go is early evening 5.30pm, or 6pm to get hot oil but less crowds.

This new worker who took my order was very friendly and was a good looking chap. I will tell my sister about him as she is looking for a boyfriend, keeping in mind she is 22 and the boy looks 14

The food was really good and the workers there were really friendly. There was this young boy who looked like he was around 14; he was so nice to me and always smiling. My single mum is looking for a new boyfriend so I will tell her to consider the young worker. Not only will she get free fish n chips but also a smell of the stinky breath.

The new worker a guy called zac was an amazing help and got me my food and made sure everything was alright and good he even brought out my food when i was in the car overall the food was great as always

Busy and loud spot. It's full of crowd, you can figure out yourself, the food is the reason behind it.
