My experience with this restaurant was really very fascinating because the food served here was finger licking.even the service was amazing they always care about customer satisfaction i would recommend everyone to go there and enjoy the amazing indian taste that’s very hard to find anywhere else

Horrible food. I had Gobi 65 biriyani Gobi 65 wasn't crispy at all and the rice was not fluffy at all. The whole meal felt like cheap frozen meal. Naan bread also tasted stale and old. Will never go back again.

Well we went by expecting good Punjabi spicy taste. Unfortunately no Punjabi taste was found. We would definetly think twice to visit this resturant again.

The curry had nothing in it, including flavour.tasted of tomato, cream and mostly water.papadums are extremely over priced.naan is dry.paneer is not soft, only squeaky

This place is very beautiful and their for services are satisfactory. Prices are good and atmosphere of that place is neat and clean

I am Indian, so I know a bit about Indian food. Laung Laachi was previously operating as a franchisee of Aangan and known as Aangan Express. The operators have now taken over this restaurant and set it up as Laung Laachi. To be honest the food was ordinary. The 5 star reviews below are probably from well meaning well wishers and friends. I do recognise that the restaurant is new - so I will give it another go. A restaurant run by people of Punjabi heritage needs to get the "chole" absolutely right - it is the measure of how authentic your menu is - sadly for us, it missed its mark significantly. Good luck and best wishes - I will come again and try it out.

Good place and nice food customer’s service is good after ages got good food to eat in Melbourne

Placed an order online and called them to within 1 minute to change one of the item (chicken dum biryani to goat dum biryani). Apparently the order was already ready ‍️ Thanks but this will be my last order at this restaurant.

So Aangan is gone and this is the replacement. Gone is the wonderful rotating selection of curries at lunch.

You can scan a QR code to order lunch special. All the curries are listed. But apparently, only butter chicken and rogan josh are available. Oh well let's see how it goes.

Food not bad but kinda average. Roti appears to have been frozen, or at least cooked cold (see pics). But the real let down was the service. Front of house guy talking and laughing with his mate who was doing delivery. Someone's lunch was going to be very late.

Ding ding ding goes the kitchen. After a good twenty minutes, im hoping that's my lunch!

Two guys laughing talking. A few mins go past, and kitchen dings again. They ignore it. Another few mins, another ding. Should i say something? At this point, I'm just staring at em waiting for someone to notice.

Then the kitchen staff yells at them; they act all surprised and spur into action. Delivery guy takes off with the food that had been ready this whole time. And guess what, other guy comes straight out with my food.

Vale Aangan Express and the incredible manager - I will miss her.

One of the best Indian food in Melbourne. Would 100% recommend it to everyone. Great vibe and excellent customer service.

Best food place to visit in Melbourne (Hawthorn). The staff is very friendly and respectful. All guys should try their food.can’t just write only one dish. They have lots of variety curries. Always love to visit them. Definitely going back to this place on coming weekend …. See u? ️️

Good vibes. Really quick service and a welcoming staff. Food was delicious. Had papdi chaat and paneer butter masala. Would definitely visit again. Highly recommended.
