Latrobe Take-Away-Foods

Ordered $10 of chips to feed a family of 5. Got no more than a handful. Barely enough for 1 person. Tried calling back with no answer.

Tried a lot of fish shops.none better than Latrobe fish shop.their fish and chips.hamburgers etc r excellent and their customer service is the best your likely to get anywhere.it's a bit further to go there for us.but well worth it.wouldnt go any where else.

Bit of a letdown. Potato cakes still had a slight crunch to them and had an almost slimy texture. Chips were dull. No EFTPOS seals the deal for me. Do yourself a favour and go to Freshly Battered.

Awesome fish shop. Home made chips and potato cakes, burgers are amazing, fish is yummy and the steamed dimmies are hot, The poeple are always nice, they do a wonderful job.

This place is worth a visit.decent hamburgers that are very filling and the staff are extremely friendly

Ordered $8 chips, 4 potato cake, 6 scallops and 3 flake. Bloody beautiful old school fish and chips. Will be ordering from them again for sure. No EFTPOS so take cash.

First time will be the last time! Potato cakes are the smallest I’ve ever seen, almost had to get a magnifying glass out. I bought $8 worth of chips, Gez I’d hate to see the minimum, don’t even get me started on the fish - pathetic, not even cooked properly, could still taste the uncooked batter!

Top spot. These guys still make their own Steak Burgers. Every time i get back into town i stop here. Highly recommended. Still same family owned fish shop for at least the last 30 years (that i know of).
