Great place, the lasagnas are big though share with someone unless you're starving. Entrees and drinks on point. There was a weird odour the night while we were there, potentially some type of plumbing issue out the back but other than that it was first rate. The manager it front of house guy. Or owner? Was really attentive and let about 7 of us split the bill at the end.

This. This Lasagna. This is why we do what we do. This is why I spend 40 hours a week doing something I don’t love. This brings me joy. A classic dish reimagined and with twists and turns you never expected, honestly inspired. Amazing flavours, I don’t think it could have been any better. The staff are super cool and will guide you through your journey to Al dente pasta layers, hot, perfect meat slop and cheesy heaven. Wow.

A heartwarming delight! Deliciously different (as well as classic) lasagnas. The atmosphere is fresh cosy, enhanced by excellent personal and friendly service.

Delicious food and awesome service! Opened my eyes to a whole new world of lasagna flavours!

We came in on a Friday when they had just opened for dinner. Our waiter was beyond accomodating. He walked us through every single menu item, from standards to specials, and poured us water. I know this seems like the bare minimum but it’s honestly really hard to find service that attentive and genuine these days. When we finished up, he even cared enough to ask which dish was our favourite.

We ordered the steak tartare for entree and the wagyu lasagna for a main to share. Their lasagnas are big enough to feed one person if you’re really hungry, but in our case, having one split between two was more than enough.

I have yet to have a bad steak tartare and I’m glad this place didn’t mark the start of it! The slice on the beef was a bit larger than most, so it wasn’t silky and smooth, but it made it moreish and meaty instead - which I personally didn’t mind. The parmesan cream it came with was so yummy, I’m thinking of making my own one day!

As for the lasagna, again, I’ve never had a bad one. But it sure was up their in the Top 3 I’ve had over my lifetime. Pretty much the perfect ratio of meat, to sauce, to pasta. I would say this ratio would be about 25%pasta: 35%meat: 40%sauce. If this isn’t your style, that’s ok, I think you’ll still enjoy it.

I’d highly highly recommend this place to try for a casual date or dinner with friends. The lasagnas are GREAT for sharing. Actually, the whole menu looks great for sharing. I wish it was more than just the two of us there so we could try more things (and that we had a bigger appetite to fit more in!). I will definitely be referring all my friends to this place and forcing them to eat with me here as I simply cannot wait to try more of the food they offer here. Would give 6 stars if I could!

Ate here for the first time a couple of weeks ago and was blown away with how DELICOUS the food is! The quality of the ingredients really come through with each bite.

Serving sizes are very generous, I was able to have half of one lasagna for dinner (along with that scrumptious honey/mustard salad) and the rest for lunch the next day

Our waiter was excellent, and gave the best menu explanation I've ever had in any restaurant. It wasn't rushed, he seemed to genuinely care that we were understanding and there was no assumption of knowledge. It may have helped that we ate early and were first people in the restaurant! It was outstanding though and an absolute highlight of our evening.

We got a lasange from the specials; pork neck, radiccio and olive tepanade from memory. It was outstanding too.

We also ordered both special cocktails and shared these. There was a figarella if I recall the name correctly that was the stand-out.

Overall a terrific dining experience we're looking forward to repeating.

Honestly one of the best lasagna’s I’ve ever eaten. It was so flavourful and staff were very friendly and attentive.

What a beautiful experience, that felt like I was eating the food from a loving mothers kitchen with service that made me feel like I was apart of the family.

If you love Lasagne come and try these! The serves are huge and you must have a big appetite if you want to get through it all or take the rest home. Wine is good and entrees and salads great too. An intimate little restaurant amongst a cafe/deli feel with items to purchase.

Sher wagyu bolognese lasagna which was exceptional. Great depth of flavours with a lovely aroma. The best part was definitely that fior di latte cheese and bechamel sauce running all over the sheets generously. Wagyu beef was super flavourful and not hidden by the rich tomato base. A bit small for $35 - saw a few reviews saying 1 was difficult to finish between two, but you can get away with a lasagna each or a great deal of sides to share.

Loved it. Such tasty lasagne and the options are good too! So many choices. I'm not sure how you could improve this simple dish from here. We loved the lemoncello as a nice freebie touch too. We'll be back. You've won us over!

Lasagna is my love language. We initially tried to get a table at 1800 lasagna and when we couldn't, we discovered lasagna lab. We've been here twice now in the last fortnight. I cannot fault the lasagna. We started with the pumpkin lasagna, then the basil and mozzarella, and finished strong with the wagyu bolognese which was mouthwatering. I would highly recommend eating the pumpkin lasagna first because it is on the sweeter side. We also had a side of leaves which helped cut through the fat. It's everything you want for a night of guilty pleasures.

The restaurant itself is a bit confusing however. We went in thinking it was casual dining. But the vibe, music, menu, and the attentiveness of the waiter felt more like fine dining. However, I noticed people wearing tracksuits so maybe it is casual with incredible service?

Nonetheless, if you're passionate about lasagna this is the place to go.

We got the duck ragu macadamia lasagna, and the prawn straciatella lasagna. Both fantastic, and each probably enough for 2 people, unless you eat as much as we do. Great service, thanks for a good time:)

Pros:
-The place has a nice environment.
-The waiters/staff were nice.
Cons:
-the lasagna was extremely cheesy and had a very sloppy consistency
-My family could not taste the Wagyu and duck in the 2 different lasagnas we ordered. The lasagna didn't taste that nice in general, quite below average.
-considerably expensive.
-not very filling

Conclusion:
An expensive meal which is not tasty and doesn't fill you up is enough to disappoint anybody. I will never go here again. There are more enjoyable and cheaper places.

Simply they exceeded my expectation in every aspect (service, food quality, food taste, seating environment)
