Lark Coffee

Best smashed avocado in Elwood, it's huge and very well-priced. I wish I had the option to add a photo in this review.

The server was very polite, I had the pulled pork benedict (paid just $20 for it) which was really good. The coffee was pretty decent, really good for the price I paid.

It’s been 3 and a half months since my last visit but the menu is unchanged (a little odd given winter porridge is still on there and we are firmly in the throes of summer) which is disappointing given it’s quite limited to begin with. Got the chicken sandwich again which was enjoyable but nothing special. Would be nice to see a more seasonal dish like an açai bowl given the warm weather

The menu is none too impressive here. Today I went for the chicken avo sandwich for lack of something more exciting and while it was definitely tasty I would prefer to not order a toastie if I am sitting down in a cafe. Would love to see them jazz up their offerings as it’s a great venue

Back at Lark and they’ve changed up the porridge dish, less filling but more flavoursome with lots of fruity toppings and crunchy textural elements. Today I discovered their back room space which was perfect for our party of ten with its long dining table and the pay at the counter option made splitting the bill a breeze for such a large group

Had lunch at Lark Coffee on Wednesday and whilst it was kind of weird to see a porridge dish on a menu on a 35 degree summer day I still ordered it. It was prettily presented but would have been yummier if it were a tad sweeter but it was probably healthier for me at least. Also had an iced chai which was again not very sweet and would have been more flavoursome and enjoyable with a dash of honey. Hubs got the beef burger which looked delicious as were his beer battered chips

As someone who works in hospitality and have for the better part of 10years-the service here is amazing. The staff are always so friendly they may make a few mistakes or you may have to wait a while during a busy period but honestly the service from the staff and the quality of the food makes this place amazing. Most places post covid are still understaffed so kudos to the lark team for always being so friendly and calm?

It's a beautiful-looking cafe but unfortunately, the service and prices really let it down. 1 egg + 1 toast shouldn't be $14. Especially when the menu implies you will get 'eggs'. Coffee wasn't bad.

I come here most days for my coffee service is attentive and quick great friendly staff and helpful

Clean, beautiful space. No fuss, friendly and efficient service. Amazing coffee and super tasty baked eggs! Would recommend for coffee alone, all the way up to with kids for a meal with all the bells and whistles.

Do yourself a favour and avoid this place!
I was the only person in the cafe, it was quiet. Makes me wonder why when all the others nearby are busy. The Asian woman served me, I literally ordered a ham and cheese toastie and went to order a coffee to be told hang on a minute - surely can’t be that hard to take two items ordered, good luck to her in busy times. I PAID at the time of ordering. The toastie was standard and coffee was bitter but I could deal with not writing a review about that. However, what appeared to be the manager came running out to my car after I had left saying I need to pay! I have never been so embarrassed in the street before. How dare you accuse me! Maybe check your register first before making me come all the way back and prove it with my bank transaction. I understand mistakes can be made, but I was literally the only person there. Your customer service is absolutely disgusting.

Coffee is well done, food is decent but service was questionable. Waited about 25 minutes for a coffee order, had to follow it up and then they later came back to re-take the order. Probably not a place for a quick brunch.

My husband and I just love this place!
We go every week for our almond coffees and croissants!
Just delicious!
And the staff is so lovely!
