甘记兰州牛肉面Lanzhou Beef Noodle Bar

I went to have lunch by myself on Sunday. As a northerner who has lived in the northwest for many years, I like beef noodles very much. The taste of this restaurant is very authentic. I often come here to eat after get off work. But the service last week was quite disappointing.

Last Sunday I went out to eat a bowl of noodles at lunchtime. My phone didn’t have time to charge and it ran out of battery. I wanted to go to the store to see if I could find a place where I could charge it. I brought my own charger. You can charge while having lunch.

The store was not very busy at that time, the seats outside were almost empty, and there were only a few tables of customers inside. I went to the queue sign, and a male waiter who was not too tall and had a round face came over and asked me who was there. It looked like this Very skilled staff.

I asked politely, I was the first one, but my phone was out of battery, was there a place where I could charge it, where I could sit, and it would be convenient to scan the QR code to pay while charging. He didn't wait for me to finish, and said "no, no, no" directly to me, which seemed to be a very disgusting tone, and then his eyes immediately turned to the two guests behind me, and said to the two guests behind me through me.indicating that there is no charging position, you go, I'm busy serving the next person.

I'm quite speechless. It's okay if there is no charging position, but at the very least there should be some courtesy between people, not to mention a sense of service.

Good value for money and fast service. I was surprised by the variety of customisation on the noodle size especially.

The amount of food they gave is generous, I couldn’t even finish one bowl on my own. Food was served very quickly after ordering.

No wait time on a Saturday lunch time - people were in and out very quickly

The texture of the noodles themselves were the best I’ve ever had. Seems quite fresh and hand made

The flavours of the signature beef noodle and the black bean noodle didn’t wow me but still enjoyable food. Giving it 4.5 stars

Me and my boyfriend absolutely love this place, heard good things about it and it lived up to our expectations. The flavours are great and food was served quickly too

Noodles are nice. But this tiny box of lamb skewers is $15+? I'm still scratching my head. I thought it was 1 single skewer

The first thing that impressed me was the rich and flavorful broth, which clearly showed the delicious result of long hours of simmering. The noodles had a fantastic chewy texture, and when combined with fresh slices of beef and vegetables, the taste became even more satisfying. The friendly attitude of the staff also enhanced the dining experience. Overall, Master Lanzhou is a restaurant worth recommending, providing a delightful combination of delectable flavors and a comfortable setting. I look forward to returning and savoring this delicious ramen again!

Good noodle with good flavour and generally friendly staff members. This shop is not crowded.

Came here for lunch as we had a good experience with their outlet at The Glen. But unfortunately we didn’t have the experience we had at The Glen! Order the same vegetarian noodle but the noodle kinda stuck together and the arrangement and colour was not even good enough for a photo!

Very busy at meal time, they don't take reservations. Ok if you get there before. 6pm or expect a short wait outside. Comparing to the other branch, the soup base is a little better at Glen; but Glen has less seating.

Good noodles and good customer service. Would recommend if want some handmade noodles I got the thin nooldes with braised pork and chilli oil.

Poor customer service…asked for less spicy soup and they gave me one super spicy. Also, not everything on the menu was available. I bit disappointed with this restaurant today

I hardly go with my wife’s suggestion but this time she was quite right. Despite being crowded, service was quick and they serve halal suitable noodles/meat

Tried few of their noodles, all below average. Little to no meat in a beef noodle that charge more than $20 (because of holiday surcharge). Will never return

They’ve got an awesome menu full of noodles and sides! We enjoyed the pickled cabbage one and the braised beef one. There are many options on the amount of herbs and condiments you can get. The beef was so soft and tasted awesome. I also liked the thinner noodles over the thin noodles but this is just my own preference haha.

Service was insanely fast and the food came out super hot. Portions were enormous too. The restaurant was packed, so the waiters were in a bit of a rush.

Ordered signature dry noodle however serving with soup. Made a complaint to waiter and he mentioned it is normal. Dry is called dry and I am regular customer at Lanzou in Doncaster, I know what I normally order. Asked to make a new one and refuse to make one and only want to remove the soup.

Made a complaint to their cashier and she mentioned why there is a soup to chef. Chef refused and said this is dry and how we normally made.

Food is tasteless as ingredients have been adding water and clearly can see from picture.

Customer service is very bad.

To Master Lanzou head office - please ensure to train you Chadstone franchisee chef, waiters and customer service. All of their services are very bad except the cashier and this wil ruin your brand. Food standard is not done as per Lanzou standard and refer to attached pic how your dry noodle looks like with extra soup in Chadstone.

I never experience this at Lanzou in Doncaster

The noodles were great here (we had the “Wider” and “Wide”) with a great consistency and pull. The soup could be more flavorful, but the chili oil fixed that in a pinch!

The Homemade Braised Beef Noodle Soup was so good. I'm glad I stopped in when walking by.
The only thing I thought was weird the charged you extra for using a credit card.

Consistently great food and service at the Chadstone branch. My partner and I love the signature beef noodles and it never disappoints.

I have been taking my colleagues and friends here often. Cannot wait to introduce this to my boyfriend, who will move to Chadstone next month
