Lanzhou Beef Noodle Bar reviews
36The noodles are very nice with flavoursome soup and tender beef! Staff is also very helpful would definitely recommend if looking for Chinese noodle dish!
The noodle is home and freshly made. The service is really quick. They have even made special seating area for elderly, pregnancy and family over four.
Great place for some of that Taiwanese beef noodle soup! Flavours were well balanced. The size of the dish is good. Service is quick. Noodles are fresh and hand made. These noodles have some chew. They don't have 200+ dishes to choose from like your usual Asian restaurants but who wants that much choice anyway! The atmosphere is good. Great for a catch up, casual eating, date or work thing. I will be back some day! And if you decide to get chilli or spicy version wear something dark, light colours have no power in this place.
Fast speed, good side dishes and there are two vegan mains that are delicious! I go here every time I visit Melbourne.
Maybe I came on a bad day, but everything was lacking flavour.
Tried the signature signature soup with thin noodles, broth was ok while noodles reminded me of spaghetti. Doesn't live up to the deep broth of a pho though.
The dry wide noodles texture was really nice but the dish itself was super bland.
Their Chinese burger is by far the worst I've ever tried.
Love how clear and ungreasy yet full of aroma about the broth. The noodle was good chewiness for biting and it's quite big volume to consume. Clean and bright inside the restaurant. Service was pretty fast even during lunch time where most seats were occupied. Enjoyed watching the chef preparing the noodle from scratch at the window showcase.
Rude staff, the dish I wanted sold out beforehand, very poor table assignment, horrible establishment
I hadn’t had Lanzhou beef noodle soup for more than 1 year since I left China last time. This restaurant reminded me those Lanzhou beef noodle soup stores, which used to be all along the street in my city. This shop offered a noodle soup having the same authentic flavor as the others in China, but with way much more generous pieces of beef slices.
Really like the noodles here. The soup was tasty with lots of flavour, the beef slices was tender and thin, and the noodles are al Dante. Would definitely come back here again!
Really good dry noodles and they are generous with the amount of beef! Plum juice is delicious:)
That was the best beef noodle soup I have tried In Melbourne to date. The homemade noodle make this dish. Would highly recommend.
Absolutely authentic, totally delicious. I came to melb for 3 nights, and had three dinner of noodle.
DO NOT order the spicy braised beef noodle soup. It is so horrendously oily that I couldn't even finish half of it. My mouth felt like wax the entire time and still felt like wax even after I stopped eating and drank lots of water trying to get rid of the taste. It's not even spicy, just extremely oily.
Very efficient service. Delicious and fresh noodles, would recommend the signature handmade beef noodle soup.
Beef noodle soup, stir-fired noodle
And potato are delicious!
You can choose noodle types by yourself:)
Food used to be good but has now gone bad. Came here a few times and the noodles they serve aren't even hot! Rude staff too but I guess its language barrier.
