Lanterns Viet Kitchen

Was a little weird thinking we were looking for a restaurant and realising it’s a warehouse. But we ordered from the car and the food was ready after time said. Lots of others were picking up too. The food was amazing so worth it. Very fresh and tasty.

They delivered a big order for our workplace Christmas party and the whole process was SUPERB! We had a number of people with all sorts of allergies but they very patiently made sure everything they provided catered to everyone. They delivered on time as well!

Food is amazing! Best Banh Mi around the area. And the rest of the food is exceptional as well. Highly recommended.

Atmosphere is clean and elegant. Crispy chicken rice is bland. I found a cluster of feather leave on the chicken. Raised that to staff when checking the bill, he showing an impatient face and the answer was robotic “Sorry about that, will let kitchen know’’
I feel unfair that I still paid the full price. I won’t complain if you would showed a little empathy at that moment.
I also think is overpriced

This was a regular place for delicious takeaway. Until my husband got food poisoning from eating the duck stir-fry. Never again.

Always love getting takeaway from here. It's consistent everytime we do and always tastes great!

Very bad soup not enough Thai Basil only four leaves for four people and bean sprouts were look off lack of flavours never come back

Ordered a Bahmi roll and a couple of rice paper rolls. Zero pork meat all fat in the bahmi. Crackle was hard enough to crack a tooth, wasnt edible.
Chicken rice paper roll had a bit of bone or gristle, complete turn off.
Disappointing given the reviews were so positive.

What happen to LVK?
This restaurant used to be good, but not anymore.
Is it still the same owner?

Foods are too salty.

Our entrees arrived within 2 minutes of sitting down. Allegedly fresh spring rolls with soft shell crab, not much crab at all. No sooner had they cleared the table but wanted the mains order. I told them I didn't appreciate being rushed. The mains were also extremely average. They also had no light beer options and wanted to charge $10.00 for a non alcoholic beer. Not worth the money and the food is underwhelming.

Lanterns has significantly deteriorated in its food quality. It used to be a restaurant of choice for my family at High St Berwick. Not anymore. I ordered Rice Bowl with Chicken. It came in a big bowl composed of 90% rice and just two tablespoons of chicken. Yes, 2 tablespoons. There was a topping of bean sprouts and lettuce which "conveniently" hid the enormous quantity of rice. Four stars for service and atmosphere.but you can't eat these, can you? Never again Lanterns.

Delicious food, really friendly staff and excellent service. It's wonderful to have more diverse food culture represented in Berwick!

This is the second unfavourable meal I have had from Lanterns.
Tonight I ordered prawn spring rolls and black angus with peanut sauce. The spring rolls and rice were great! The main dish though, the sauce doesn't taste of peanut and the "black angus" almost made me vomit! I think this may be one of the cheaper cuts, like a brisket, then braised until the fat is tender. It was basically half fat, half meat and tasted a bit funky, certainly not a good beef dish. The dog next door will enjoy it though.
$45 later via uber eats, lesson learned.the one star is too much.

Food and staff were excellent. And everything came out so fast.
Can't wait to go back.

Food was just fantastic. I think I could have ordered everything on the menu. Bring a group and do just that.

We celebrated our mom’s birthday with food delivery from Lanterns Berwick. The delivery was real quick, the meals were hot and flavoursome. Highly recommended.

First time here, loved it! So fresh and tasty. I had the spicy prawns and my wife had the Eggplant and mushroom dish. She isn't a fan of chilli but she loved it. Just right for her.

Very disappointed with our last two orders. We ordered takeaway, we were there when the food was packed so assumed it was fresh, when we arrived home all the food was lukewarm, some even cold (we live 10mins away) the fried chicken was stale and tasted like it was fried earlier in the day then reheated.
The rice noodles I got were all chopped up and I had to eat it with a spoon, not how I would normally eat my noodles. Such a shame because the dine in experience was quite nice. We won’t be eating there again though, two bad experiences are enough for us.

We had dinner at Lanterns with my whole family. The place is cozy and organised, staffs are friendly and deliver amazing service. Great value. Definitely return.
