Hand on heart - Jodi is the best family lawyer. She is litigation savvy, intelligent, direct, honest, no frills and she listens. She is such a good egg. She will take on a fight and not be intimidated by aggression. I have an abusive ex and I lost my voice. She became my voice and believed in me and she took on the battle I couldn’t. I trusted Jodi and I now have my house and my children and my respect. I will be forever indebted to Jodi, Erin and the team at Lanham Lawyers.

I would not recommend Jodie, she did not turn up to my court case or advise me of her intention not to turn up or give me the option. I had to ring her and ask her where the hell was she. She did not follow through on what she has stated in the beginning of the case and changed things to suit herself. My interests were neglected, nothing read or explained to me and I was pressured into signing documents to get my case finalised.

Jodi has been the light at the end of the tunnel in what has been the darkest place I have been in my whole life, her guidance through the whole process has been second to none and after the first consultation I felt much less anxious about the whole thing, a huge weight off my chest.

Jodie has excellent knowledge on family law matters and is genuinely willing to help

Jodie was fantastic in helping with my situation. She understood my desperation and got me a barrister that was very good at her job. Its not often a male wins in a family matter with children but thanks to Lanham Lawyers the judgement was in my favour and i am greatful and respectful of them.

So why just 3 stars. Well be warned, take every thing they say about costs with a grain of salt and get it in writing so you have something to come back on. I was told that I had to pay everything upfront before a barister could be briefed for my 2 days in court. We knew it was 2 days so there was no extra time to be billed to me.

I paid the amount upfront that was agreed to and won my case. A little while later I recieved an invoice from them and when questioning it I was told it was for the second day at court.

Jodie was very forward in the begining that i was lucky to get the barrister for 2 days at the price i paid upfront for yet denies this was the case. I refused to pay and they got a court judgement against me for te invoiced amount.

My credit rating has been damaged by this so now I battle that problem

The lovely ladies from Lanham Layers where fantastic, they helped me with all my legal issues, the outcome was fantastic far better than i could of even wished for.

A little disappointed. Staff were friendly and fitted me in on short notice but poor outcome and judge was unimpressed by the quality of affidavit they finalized whereas she had never had an issue with those I compiled myself. The advise they gave was a long way from the outcome.
