Langwarrin Flora & Fauna Reserve reviews
38Good place for a walk in nature. Plenty of bird life, lizards, echidna but watch out for snakes especially on warmer days. I have seen a few of them there. Black snakes and tiger snakes.
It's the best place for walking trails for long or a short walk, there are many tracks to follow with instructions. I enjoy listening to birds and seeing different trees. If you like to walk I recommend flora and fauna reserve in Langwarrin, Vic are the best. "Love it".
Such a wonderful place to escape and get some fresh air and exercise with lots of different tracks to explore.
Beautiful spot with lots of trails. Great walking, running, biking areas. Some lovely tight walking trails and an old aqueduct and military rifle pits with some information on historical use
Always great for a walk, nothing to difficult and you can get up to about 12 kms before you start back tracking.
Amazing walks surrounded by nature and birds.
Free entry
Please take your rubbish with you.
Wide open spaces, kids enjoyed picking things and placing in baskets for our nature walk. I don’t know if it is because it’s winter - but only saw one flower where we were (we didn’t go far) but would be nice to return maybe in the spring. All in all was good to be in the bush, felt so natural and calming
You could be deep in the bush.lots of curious pathways to explore, blue wrens, monarch, a reservoir, dunes, beautiful flora and hardly any people on a weekday.
Take a water bottle and access to GPS on the tracks as it is easy to get lost the first time. They are all labelled though.
There are no toilets but there are also few flies.
It is nice but be careful if your on your own I was approached by a strange man and I reported it to police they should have cctv in car park
Calm, beautiful and serene. Wonderful place to go for a walk in nature. Do yourself a favour and take time out of your morning to walk the trails. One of my favourite ways to start the day.
LOTS of mosquitoes, especially near the reservoir, so make sure you apply repellent, but still an interesting wander around, viewing the remnants of the former military camp
Fantastic park for walking, trail running, bird watching and appreciating nature. Plenty of trails to choose from and some have interesting signage about the history of the park.
Meandering through the reserve you could believe you were in the country. The delightful sound of birds & frogs & the fresh fragrance of the native flora.
Lovely place to walk and allow my toddler to explore at his own pace. Wish the reserve had toilets
This is almost secret. It's great for a little history.variety of terrain and vegetation
As you enter the reserve you can forget that you’re in Langwarrin. Perfect little adventure right on our back door. The only negative that there’s not much for kids to do and definitely not pram friendly
There are many tracks to choose from, through the reserve. The tracks are often sandy, so good for walking but maybe not for wheels.
There are a few things of historical interest, such as a stone water reservoir from the 1800s, with a sign telling of the history.
Located within our 10km radius it's a great park to exercise in. Good variety of walks & terrain.
Very lovely. Tranquil. Great power lines, too. Good chance of seeing roos, echidnas and mosquitos.
