Laneway Dance

The team of Laneway dance is a superstar for our loved daughter. She would love to be a professional like her teachers. They also have a passion to encourage students to take further challenges, to keep their motivations and to contribute to their community.

Our youngest daughter has been with the Laneway dance family for 5-6 years. The only child to choose her own physical activity outside of a predominantly ball & martial arts centered sport.
Completely out of our league with the dance environment, this has meant that we have been able to step back, let go of control & watch our daughter grow & mature independently, not only as a dancer, but as a wonderful young human.
Sarah & the team at Laneway Dance have facilitated not only teaching the preciseness of a variety of dance skills, fitness & the value of nutrition, but they have also taught the vital moral values of discipline, leadership, respect, work ethic & most importantly, a culture of kindness. Pointedly promoting a strong sense of always supporting one another - no matter what.
The team worked hard to keep the students engaged online during covid - a saving grace in comparison to what was occurring in our community. #positivemindset
As a result we all have beautiful, confident young people who take these skills with them outside of the dance school.
I’m not always across all the bits n pieces, make up & hair, booking things in etc… but Laneway have also empowered the students to manage themselves (& sometimes their parents!).
They say it takes a village to raise a child… Thanks Laneway for being the added, completely positive, influence outside the home to our child.
It isn’t just about dancing… there is so much more if you look closely enough.

Interesting that there are only 5 reviews before mine! There are whats app groups between dance Mums all saying the same thing. Laneway Dance is basic - their only priority is that you pay as much money as you can to be there.

Since moving to another dance school I can see the difference between a great school that takes what they do seriously and cares for their students versus the amateurs at Laneway Dance.

I’m spreading the words so no other parent doesn’t make the same mistake that I did and encouraging others to leave!

Our girls continue to love dancing at Laneway. The team is professional and well guided. The end of year concerts are stunning and we have ample opportunities during the year to see their progress. The teachers have always been welcoming to the kids and parents alike with the kids forming long lasting relationships with them. My daughter has enjoyed the challenge of competitions and has had fabulous opportunities to shine on stage and also learn the valuable lessons of working in a team. We will have many more years to come with Laneway!

This place is very business like more than a dance school. If you want your child to actually be able to dance properly don’t waste your money here.

Laneway Dance is professionally run and provides an energetic and friendly environment for all students. Laneway Dance is a beautiful and warm school, so close to the local communities heart. I am so privileged to be apart of the Laneway Dance community and family.
