Lancemore Macedon Ranges reviews
8We went to scope out as a potential wedding venue. The staff were unprepared for our visit, unwilling to show us around to ceremony locations and showed no dedication to being inclusive to LGBTQI+ couples. Venue is dated and not like the pictures. Made the decision to reject easy.
Lancemore Macedon hosted our wedding and we truly appreciated how accomodating they were to all of our requests - even with poor weather damaging the area we originally wanted to host our ceremony, they were so efficient at helping us relocate to another site on-premises to make sure everything ran smoothly.
Shout out to all the staff who were thrown in the deep end after lockdown for going above and beyond. Having the ability to have most of our guests spend the night meant everyone was relaxed and had a blast.
Terrible. Terrible. Terrible. You couldn't pay me to stay here again. Lancemore should be ashamed on how the treat their guests. Not sure who manages the place but they I think they need to find a new career path. Wouldn't wish this place on my worst enemy.
The venue is very nice, ideal for corporate functions and weddings. However the staff need training on attitude and banquet service. Staff acted like pub staff… we felt most of them acted racist? Staff were under pressure due to short of staff but their attitude towards us and others were deferent. Front office lady was so friendly and welcoming…
We choose Lancemore Macedon Rages as our wedding venue. We were impressed by the quality of food, the cleanliness of accomodation, the professionalism of staff, and the beautiful grounds. There were some less than ideal moments, like being washed out of the secret garden but that is by no means anyone's fault.
Attended recently for a work conference. The conference rooms were great expect for they were full of the biggest blow flies I have ever seen and they would put the meals out on tables with a room full of flies. Although the food probably wouldn't appeal to a fly. The "gala" meal was disgusting, I had beef rib eye which was cold and all fat and half way through they served the cold sides of chat potatoes and green beans. About 200 ppl who attended were all disappointed with the meal. For the cost of this facility there is a huge room for improvement.
We had a horrible experience in organising our wedding at Springhill Estate by Lancemore.
Before we paid our deposit, we were offered flexibility and a private/intimate experience; after that, they booked groups over the top of ours, retracted verbal agreements and even went against their own written contract.
It caused us incredible and unnecessary stress to organise an event with them and speaking to onsite management to try to clear up our issues made things worse.
I would consider other options; our friends and family made the day wonderful, but the overall experience was marred by working with Springhill Estate.
We attended a wedding here and while the wedding went well the customer service, accommodation and included breakfast left a lot to be desired. The room was dark with limited natural light, there was no fridge and only a tiny bin in the bathroom. Breakfast was delicious however the kitchen struggled to supply enough for the number of guests so we were constantly waiting for things to be brought out (such as bacon, eggs, bread, juice, water). We found the host of the wedding to be delightful and she was very attentive to the needs of the guests both on the day and during breakfast service the next morning, however this wasn't consistent with the service we received from others in the center where it quite frankly felt like they'd forgotten the meaning of customer service. Overall the venue was stunning and was a great setting for an event, hopefully this feedback can help raise the standard of the 'little things' that need to be addressed to provide a great experience.
