Lancefield Bakery

Lunch with my family. Was fair or market on at the time so the place was packed. Staff did a good job keeping up, and the food was good. Well worth a visit if you find yourself in Lancefield.

I had a beef, bacon and cheese pie. My wife had the curry pie.

It's a bakery.a fine range of breads and rolls, beautiful sandwiches, a range of cakes to die for and wonderful coffee. You won't be disappointed. The girls are better than good and there's always a smile.great place

Absolutely delicious pies that are overflowing with filling! You won’t get huge chunks of meat if that’s what you’re looking for, but the beef gravy came with lots of minced meat and fresh veggies, which were really yummy!

We tried the apple strudel too; it tasted ok but we don’t think we will be returning for that.

One of the best bakeries we have been to plus they have the largest neenish tarts you have ever seen.worth the 340k trip to get some.yum

I asked for a ham and cheese croissant. And it was made in front of my eyes. Great service and reasonable prices.

After reading many of the extremely positive reviews about this bakery, I visited it yesterday and was disappointed. While the service from two of the ladies behind the counter was very nice and the prices were good, the food - I thought - was average. I left with a bundle of items and tried a sample of each: beef pie, sausage roll, chicken and salad roll, apple slice, custard tart, cheesecake and a coffee. The coffee was particularly disappointing.
Having not previously visited the area, I did appreciate seeing Lancefield which was beautiful.

Lovely coffee and vanilla slice. Arrived 5 minutes to closing but but they made our coffees with no fuss. Just friendly service. Great sense of humour - we had a great time.

Pies and bread were great but the vanilla slices had pastry that was very soggy and the filling was not nice, overall they were inedible.

Great bakery in the heart of town, meeting point of the community and fantastic local service. But their GOD DAMN INSISTENCE! On having an EFTPOS minimum in a time when contactless is the norm and requested form of payment seriously needs to go. Remains the only business that retains it.

What great little bakery. I had one of the best custard tarts I've had in a long time. I am a real stickler for a custard tart, crunchy but not too crunchy, the custard sweet but not drowning in sweetness, firm but still melts in your mouth kind of custard. My wife had a delicious jelly slice which was also well done. And to top it off, we had great customer service, beautiful aromatic coffee and they had a picture on their wall which is the original bread oven for the bakery. All in all excellent. First time visitor but now will be regular customer. Highly recommend a treat from the bakery and grab a coffee to enjoy in the many outdoor area's opposite tge bakery. Keep baking my friend I'll be spreading the word wherever I am. Cheers

I like the friendly service and the quality of the food is good, l love the bread, they have very nice custard tarts.

Mushroom pie was stella. Good service. Very nice part of the world. They had a couple snazzy old radios too that I enjoyed checking out.

Simply the best, yours truly country bakery. Omg good customer service, large verify of product/ bake goods, decent size cold drink fridge, and hot/ warm drink service. Wait until you try their Bourbon and pulled pork pie!

Excellent Guinness beef pie and coffee. Picturesque street without the weekend crowds/ tourists except me
