LaManna And Sons Cremorne

Let me tell you….
Visiting my family this morning I stopped at La Manna to get some treats and even though it was past 8 am they have only a few items Lon display, I’ve been to La Manna many times and this is the first time that I leave a bit disappointed as I wanted to buy a few other fresh produce, perhaps it’s my fault for been there so early. At least the fruit platter was nice and the cakes.

Ticks all the boxes of a great cafe.

Food is actually really high quality and serving sizes are large and the coffee is consistent.

Meal was quite small, compared to other cafe's that serve scrambled eggs. I ordered the "La manna scrambled eggs". It tasted great, its a beautiful recipe, the atmosphere is lovely as well. And at the time of writing this review, they were charging an extra 10% on top of their listed prices on weekends, plus on top of this they charge their flat rate transaction fee when you attempt to pay via card. So there's a couple of layers of pricing to get through at this cafe if you dine in on the weekends.

Great large space perfect for a few hours of remote work (free wifi) or long lunches with friends. Good voice and some of the most reasonable prices in the city for food. A great addition to the neighbourhood and appreciated that it’s now open on Saturday’s.

Best cafe in Melbourne!

When we were looking for a new office, my direction to the real estate agent was simple - put us within 100m from LaManna. Great atmosphere, great food, even better staff. Love this place!

Loved the ambience and quality of food. It's a great place to catch up for a quick meeting or bite!

Not bad, nice decor. Plenty of space. Salads were nice and tasty also the club sandwich. Coffee was fine.

Super popular, but much much better food and coffee options in the area. Manager of this place is highly unprofessional, wouldn't go near it.

Thus place us fresh and quick to be served. My favourite here is thr vegan Falafel and egg plant wrap.

This is a great venue, the decor and atmosphere are great. The food is even better. I had the Ruben

It was very busy in the morning though the coffee was boiling hot! The atmosphere is very very nice but if you prefer family owned Melbourne kinda coffee probably this is not the best place. Food looks very yummy!

I buy takeaway from all my local eateries to support small business, but this is the last time I step foot into LaManna & Sons Cremorne.

I was just charged $16.50 for a cauliflower salad that was 3/4 full. It was literally filled with spinach, it was light as a feather as it was passed to me. I was seriously slugged!

During lockdown I was in there regularly to buy their chicken: broccoli salad. I was impressed to see these pre packaged salads with a reasonable price tag of $10, all the meal boxes were filled equally and you could see what you were paying for.

One day during lock down I purchased a chicken sandwich that was on display wrapped in clingwrap. I took a bite and spat it out, the bread was like cardboard. Times may have been tough and selling day old sandwiches, I’m ok with that but please advise that it would be better toasted! And if it’s not day old well there is a product issue.

I love having all eateries at my door step and to keep them here I support them all, but today was the last straw for me.

The staff are always pleasant but don’t like the inconsistency. There are other food venues in the area that offer value for money. So I won’t be back ️

Came for breakfast. I sat and waited around 20 minutes, couple of staff said hello as they walked by. No one wanted to take an order or even a coffee. I'm not sure if it's table service or you go up and order. Regardless it's not a place I would try again, especially when there are great cafes in the area.

Ordered a large Caesar Salad (advertised with poached egg). Tub was only filled three-quarters through and only half a poached egg was included. I paid $13.50 for this. What a joke!

One of the best place for coffiee and food in the area. I visit the Cafe every day for a Chai.

So delicious! I've tried the chicken wrap and today with the Ruben. Both were excellent. The whole vibe of the place is so relaxing and homey. Great customer service, makes for an awesome experience.

Came in for a late chicken wrap after lunch rush, but chicken tasted very fresh still! Well done on not skimping on quality!

Prices on everything is astronomical. $6 for a thin slice of Banana Bread? $11.50 for half a tiny wrap? Don’t let them rip you off because you’re in ‘Cremorne’.

LaManna is THE BEST! Has to be one of the top spots for breakfast or lunch, great friendly service, amazing food, and such a nice atmosphere.
It is THE PLACE to make your new regular/daily. The chilli scramble is my pick.

Over priced food, bad parking to get to! Pre-done food and re-heated! Coffee isn’t the best, better coffee down chestnut st!
