Everything is super exxy but the quality is really good.just wish they’d reduce their reliance on all the plastic, especially stuff on their bargain table.it’s off putting and stops me buying.hope they get with the times and update their systems soon.

Excellent local grocer. Friendly and helpful staff. Fresh food. My favourite is that it has convenient packs for cooking. Choped up, ready to put in the oven pumpkin, potatoes, stir fry. Also chopped up fruit when you need a quick go to.

The most helpful and friendly staff who listen and help their customers! A rare thing and you never wait in a queue they always find an assistant to help and the variety and quality of food is excellent!

Don't think I've ever been but just received an unsolicited text message ad that addressed me by name. No idea how they got my number. Sure way to lose a customer before you even get them!

I have been a regular and loyal customer at La Manna essendon fields, can not fault their exceptional customer service and produce. I moved to south Yarra and continued my loyalty with La Manna in south Yarra… this was my last visit there as I was abruptly spoken to and as I had an empty bag that I provided to the cashier and she suspiciously asked me to open it up for a bag check… I will no longer shop at La manna, I was treated with disrespect and when I approached the manager a few days later, he was happy his staff checked my bag… I then went back to essendon fields La manna and they were appalled with how I was treated… goodbye La manna. Used to shop here every week, but no more. Thanks to the rude brown girl at cashier working on Sunday 11 June 2023.

This is not so much a complaint against the quality of product but more a complaint against the level of service by one of the female staff members who works at the supermarket section. Everytime you see her at the checkout she is sulky never greets you the customer or even says goodbye and has this very unpleasant manner like she is one of the bereaved attending a funeral reception. I didnt get her name but she is small, dark haired with a faint resemblance to the tennis player sam stosur. The rest of the staff are normally very warm and friendly, that's why this girl's general conduct and miserable demeanor come as such a surprise.

Incredible fruits, vegetables and even better service! The Kanzi apples are my favourite. I'd definitely recommend them if your looking for quality produce.

This review relates specifically to the deli shop. While the produce is great, the service generally is bad. The staff have no sense of urgency and will often choose to continue working on whatever it is they're doing instead of assisting customers even when there are several people waiting. When they they do eventually come there's not even an acknowledgement that you've been waiting. Today is not the first time I've walked away without being served after waiting way too long for no apparent reason. La mana, you've lost me for good as a customer.

LaManna is such a great gourmet supermarket. Super fresh fruit and veggies and an amazing selection of ready made meals and fancier foods that you won't find in the big supermarkets. Lots of staff here that are friendly and happy to help. They also have a large deli section opposite too with a huge variety of meats

What’s with the rude service at the coffee area? Every visit, I’m met with a rude greeting: no “hello”, no “have a great day”, not “can I get you anything else? ”…. And the coffee? Don’t get me started… but let’s just say… it gets worse with every visit.

Regular shopper here. Last time I was in they overcharged me for my flowers, I told the cashier and she changed it. The woman next to me then told her cashier she had something that was not the correct price also.it felt a bit off to be honest.

Gosh their meats and cheese and goodies from the deli are so so good. Supermarket not too bad either, helpful staff.

I returned a loaf of Ned’s bread because it was disgusting and sour and the patronising lady who works at LaManna refused to give me a refund and told me that I must have bought the wrong bread in the first place.

Shocking customer service, I haven’t shopped at LaManna since and I tell everyone I know about my terrible experience there. For a business to not understand the value of customers is very strange - I feel sorry for LaManna.

I go there all the time for groceries and like their quality. But today I had a rather unpleasant experience. I was over charged for the turmeric and snow peas I bought. The receipt showed the turmeric weighed 0.24 kg and snow peas weighed close to 300kg. The total came to $18. But from experience I know they were not that heavy, especially the turmeric. I have left the shop by then but decided to return to confirm. Upon re weighing the turmeric, it was 60g instead of 240g, so the cashier gave me back $9 for it. She took the receipt off me very quickly as well. When arriving home, out of curiosity, I weighed the snow peas and it turned out to be 155g, half of what was shown on the receipt. It was $19.99/kg and I paid $6 for it. You work it out…I am a bit disappointed that La Manna is not more careful with the way they weigh products and charge. It needs to be more accurate and diligent. Unfortunately it left a bad feeling with me and I don’t know how often I will go back to shop there.

Excellent store display with wide variety of products some products are priced well but others are a bit extra.
Friendly customer service and placed in a prominent location.
