Laksa Sayang reviews
22I ordered the Fried Koay Teow today, delicious food. Strongly recommend with extra spicy Delicious food with fair price. Best in Werribee
The Beef War Tan Ho is the best! Best in ingredients and taste, beats the same dish from the famous Malaysian resto chains.
The food was so good I just dived in and forgot to take a photo until we were half way through. A very legit Malaysian eatery. It’s nice to find this little gem out here. Located in front of Coles werribee. Don’t expect a fancy restaurant, just expect good food.
Yummy food all round.love the 'wok hei' taste.try it.authentic taste. Ww love it
Great Laksa!
I always get the Chicken curry laksa. The meat is moist, tofu puffs on point and the soup is absolutely amazing. For under $16!
It's become my weekly go to lunch spot.
Hainanese Chicken with rice is very good too.
Such a gem in the West for authentic Malaysian food. Wat tan got cooked to perfection. The egg gravy is just fantastic with the rice noodle that already pan fried before. Very authentic. Prawn noodles is the star in the West. Finally a restaurant that sell prawn noodles where soup is full of prawn flavors. And serve with a whole egg as well as water spanish. Exactly how Malaysia served, apart from serving in here is bigger than Malaysia local. Their mixed veggie, aka 4 big stars finally have the petai. This ingredients is very hard to find in Malaysian restaurant. Their deep fried chicken wing and drumsticks taste exactly like in street food in KL. The coating is very local and original. This restaurant is very small. Dine in tables are very limited. It is very convenient with public transport, walking distance from train station and bus stop. Staff are very friendly. Price is average with this high quality of food. Strongly recommend to anyone who like Malaysian food. Plenty of parking nearby. It located inside the shopping centre, just opposite Coles.
One of the best if not the best Malaysian restaurant in Werribee. Although the restaurant is small but it will surprise you the food it produces. You will need to come a few times to try all your favorite Malaysian local dishes. The portion are big and price are very reasonable. Indeed a secret gem in the heart of Werribee.
Bought this Tom Yam fried Mee hoon for dinner.
Omg, this is seriously super super yummy!
Will be back again for other dishes.
OMG best laksa I've had in (greater) Melbourne. Beautiful, rich depth to the broth and lots of toppings: eggplant, fried tofu, fishcake & big prawns. Absolutely delicious, legit food and super friendly staff.
Hainanese chicken rice (takeaway) was so so tasty, a banger of a dish (soup yummy, chicken moist & flavourful, great ginger flavour through the rice). All thumbs up
Lovely little hidden gem for local Asian (Malaysia / Singapore) cuisine. Park at the back of Coles for easier access. The lobak (aka ngo hiang) was lovely and a must try
Was passing through and found this gem. The restaurant was clean and orderly. Their seafood curry laska was flavourful with the right notes of coconut curry spice. The seafood was fresh and generous. The noodles firn and plentiful. The proprietor who served us was cheerful and fun to talk to. Thank you for a very pleasant meal.
One of the best places to try Malaysian hawker fare. The chef is meticulous in his creations. Hokkien mee is not watery and laden with lard. Laksa is creamy and tasty. Cantonese fried noodles are also creamy and the egg is cracked in right at the end to thicken the broth.
Try their fried chicken, he has outdone KFC in every way there, best fried chicken in the west.
They are understaffed so check their Facebook page for updates on opening hours and days.
This is the best Laksa I’ve eaten since Tasty Gate (also in Werribee) closed. The staff are lovely too.
Since they closed quite early because of understaffed, I just went there for a quick dinner and ordered Har Mee (Penang Prawns Noodle), Curry Laksa and Curry puff (Sardines). I liked the Har Mee coz the broth was very authentic. Curry Laksa was not bad either. Please remembered to eat the curry puff upon serving hot otherwise it will turned oily once it get cold. I will definitely be back for more as they do served very authentic Msian street foods.
One of the best around Werribee if you are looking for Malaysian foods. Wan tan hor was really delicious.
Love this place. Small cosy joint. We tried the laksa, Hainanese Chicken and noodles. The chicken is the best Hainanese we have had. It was a family favorite. Will definitely return.
Hands down the most delicious laksa. A very small place tucked away in a walk-through arcade. I hoped for a nice, tasty treat but was honestly surprised by how good they are, clearly the chef knows authentic Malay cuisine, it's such an unexpected gem of a place in Werribee. Lovely.
Everything wad great except the stir-fried noodle. The noodle was overcooked. The service was good. I will definately go back for laksa.:)
Very surprising experience, I ordered the salted fish fried rice and fried Rice Noodle, it was the best I had around the point cook and werribee area. Will sure go back again.
This unassuming restaurants deliveres on flavour! The house curry Laksa was great.
I was sadly too full to try the gloriously fried chicken, looking forward to my next visit.
