Lakewood Nature Reserve reviews
57 Great reserve behind a residential area, even has its own lake.
Good for that peaceful walk you need after hectic day.
Love the man made Lake inside and very peaceful in the morning
A nice little place to go for walks. Peaceful and pleasant. The full circuit takes about 20 mins and is very popular with joggers/walkers.
Nice area for a walk or for a run sometimes senior riders came to ride from young to old you can get some peace and serenity here. It is a peaceful place not far from knox shopping center. It is best to see the little ducklings in spring here.
What a great park- walking through certain parts feels like you’re in the mountains and not in the suburbs. Huge variety of bird life and plenty of paths to walk too.
Beautiful hidden gem I'm suburbia. Easy walking tracks. Great for kids to ride bikes.
An oasis in the middle of suburbia, locals are so lucky to have it.
Absolutely beautiful reserve.
The lake is stunning and has fantastic bird life and good level paths circling the lake for walking and cycling.
Enough space to easily distance from others during the pandemic.
Such a gem that will hopefully be cherished and looked after for now and generations to come.
One of my most favourite places in the world. Love to come here at evening/dusk and sit by the lake. Quiet and serene, beautiful scenery and trees. First came here as a young lad and I'll be coming here for years yet!
Good local track & natural reserve, love the ducks and swans in dusk swimming in the lake
Nice place for a peaceful walk,
Only let down is there are no toilets,
Unless your willing to keep it natural and go in between tree's for one's and two's!
Nice little park, great walk around the lake which also goes through a nice bushy area. NO off lead area for dogs and no bins, (carry in carry out). Lake holds Red fin and eels, doesn't get stocked with trout which would be a nice touch. Plenty of water foul for bird watchers.
An exceptionally tidy and delightful location. The residents in the vicinity are extremely cordial. It is highly recommended for those who enjoy engaging in warm-ups and exercise routines.
Relaxing lakeside walk along a circular path. Very beautiful sunset. Nature lovers would definitely enjoy.
It would be even better if they considered stocking it and looking after the water quality better.
Very clean and very nice place. People living in the sorrounding are very friendly. Highly recommended for warm ups and excercise and for family gathering. I'll surely visit again this place to explore the bush and to fly my drone within the bush.
Great reserve behind a residential area, even has its own lake.
Good for that peaceful walk you need after hectic day.
Beautiful serene quiet place to walk. I walk from Harcrest Hub carpark. About 5km to and back. Cut across the harcrest estate and our towards Edgan reserve, and continue the lake.
Nice easy walk with good paths. Plenty of birdlife but don't walk in the grass as a lot 9f dog owners don't pick up their dogs droppings
Nice clean place to walk. 0 fitness level needed, flat land all the way with wide foot path. Great place to picnic if you jsut want somewhere quiet, minimum human traffic. Various wild life.
Pram friendly in that the path around the lake is sealed. There is a short section of boardwalk which certainly makes the pram bounce but bub seemed not to mind. Quite lovely and shaded in parts. Interest is perhaps a little limited; once you've walked around the lake a couple of times you've probably seen all there is to see. Plenty of ducks:)
