Kaye was lovely, the fresh bread was amazing, having basic food amenities already stocked made breakfast much more enjoyable as we didn’t have to go out. Everything was very clean, lots of other amenities provided, the grounds are beautiful.

Serene and tranquil, away from the hustle and bustle. Only 20 minutes away from the Yarra Valley. This place is beautiful! Thank you!

First time I've ever booked at a place and been greeted with freshly baked bread on the counter and basic food supplies in the fridge. The Lakeside Cottage is a fantastic place for couples to spend a night away and represents great value given the amenities provided. Wish we stayed longer than the one night and this has definitely become our first pick for the next time we stay in the area!

Beautiful, romantic, private. Perfect for Valentine's, romantic getaways, proposals and wedding nights. Generous hosts, luxurious rooms, lush grounds. Highly recommend.

The garden is beautiful and the host are friendly and kind. But the house was have a lot of insects every where in all the rooms, the orange juice was open, hot chocolate sachet was date expired, one of the towels was dirty. I don't recommended.

Kaye was amazing with helping to plan my partners surprise birthday get away. The heater was on when we got there, fresh food in the fridge and plenty of toiletries in the bathroom if we needed it. The fact the spa was readily available as well was perfect and topped off our night. Kaye set up the room amazingly and had petals over the bed and spread in the bathroom as well, she also had a bottle of champagne for us in the room as part of the additional cost. I will return to Lakeside Cottage again any time the big city starts to become too much. I'll recommend this B&B to all my friends because of the great service Kaye gave, the location and also the overall presentation fo the cottage. Thanks again Kaye:)

I think that the mark 4.8 star is fake, and someone did it for the cottage purposely.

Absolutely loved our stay, the comfort of our cottage, the luxury of the finer details, the beautiful gardens and my favourite the sun room with stunning views of the outside. A highly recommended getaway! Go feed your soul!

My fiancé and I are forever grateful to Kaye, for making one of our most special nights, an unforgettable and truly romantic one! We couldn't thank Kaye enough for everything she did, and all of her help to Remy in making 'the proposal' so magical. She really went above and beyond, went out of her way to assist him. The property is absoluely gorgeous and peaceful. It is ideal for a quiet and romantic escape. It is all the small details that make it so special too - homemade bread, fresh eggs from the chickens in the gardens, the rabbits running across the grounds.
I'm still on cloud 9 from an unforgettable night at the Lakeside Cottage.
