Lakes-Explorer: Wildlife Tours & Water-Taxi

We spent a wonderful 90 mins with Skipper Pete this morning I highly recommend the cruise

We spent 1 hour tour with my child and puppy, really enjoyed it, we got to see many different species of birds, seals on the rocks, National park along the beautiful lakes. Such a gem!
Skipper was friendly and informative. He cares about animals here. He even wrote down an injured seal when he came across to report to the scientists, he also counts the amount of seals once a week for them.
Last but not least, both my child and puppy have motion sickness, however they were totally fine on the boat! They had a lot of fun!
It exceeded my expectations, a must do at Lakes Entrance.

Been to lakes so many times and we took the water taxi in the last trip. Had the best tour of the lakes, highly recommended. Skipper was soo knowledgeable and explained things very nicely. I believe its the best option to take water taxi instead of the cruise. He not only explains the history but also about the wildlife around. Money well spent with no regrets.

Our little family had a wonderful time doing a 1 hour tour with Skipper Pete today. We really enjoyed listening to him share his knowledge of the area and of the wildlife. Our busy 5 year old loved being on the boat and seeing the birds and the seals. Fantastic value for money for a family of 4 we felt.

Made contact Tuesday night, met him again on Wednesday morning, for an absolutely fantastic Lakes tour. We had no idea that Lakes had so much Pete’s knowledge was incredible, we are so appreciative of his expertise & how kind he was to our 2 Cavaliers who just sat & took in the scenery.
