Lakes Entrance Bowls Club

New Years Eve dinner, we can never faulty the food or the service and value for money! We are not locals but it's one of the reason we do visit Lakes Entrance! Food quality is consistent and we will be back soon, thank you!

Food was superb and very reasonably priced. Staff were wonderful and friendly also. Would definitely recommend.

The staff and volunteers at this club are amazing. From the minute we walked in as visitors to the town we were made to feel welcome. Everyone was extremely warm and friendly. Particular mention to Katreena from the social club and Troy working in the bistro. Well done guys. Can’t wait to come back.

This is a great place for locals and tourists to come and enjoy the sport of bowls in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The club is located in the heart of the Lakes Entrance, where the Gippsland Lakes meet the ocean, making it a popular spot for visitors.

The service is really friendly and the food is surprisingly good! It is also the only place in the area which is open for dinner till late.

They have one of the best dressing could ever be served with calamari salad! Highly recommended!

Came here for dinner and was thankful we decided to book - as the venue was jam packed for a tuesday night. Ordered the chicken parma and the seafood platter - both meals were delicious. The wait as a bit long but definitely worth it for the fresh hot food we were served. Will return.

Dinner was fantastic! The meals came out fast & was delicious. The play area for the kids is great, and the added tv monitor in the restaurant area which allows you to keep an eye on the kids in the play area is genius

The meals here are very nice and reasonablypriced. Staff are very friendly. They also provide a courtesy bus service on Friday and saturday for local areas which is great if you are drinking. If you like you can also play the pokies.

The staff were lovely. Not your ordinary menu. I was surprised when I ordered the scallop and chorizo risotto. It tastes every bit as good as it looks. I hope they keep this on the menu permanently. They also have breakfast pancakes and the coffee is excellent, it even comes in those fashionable cups that gourmet cafes use.

My son & I had dinner last night, that was absolutely magnificent. We started with the Creamy Garlic Prawns on Rice, then my son had the Porterhouse steak that was cooked to perfect (med rare), whilst I had the Lambs Fry & Bacon. To finish off, I had the Vanilla Slice. Each course was just one fantastic course after another. I cannot speak highly enough of not only the food, but also the friendly staff as well. We'll be back again & again.

If you enjoy your food, go to the Lakes Bowls Club. We ordered pork belly which came with a generous serve of dressed, chunky slaw. The large serving of pork came as large cubes of crispy skinned meat and was yummy but too much for the average eater. The service was quick and friendly and we left happy, with a container of leftover pork for another day.

We went specifically to have dinner but unfortunately the Bistro was closed for two nights. It may have wonderful food but I am unable to give a proper review. After travelling all day it was disappointing to not find the Bistro open.

Had lunch today at Lakes bowling club. I am 5th generation local and from a fishing family going back to the start of fishing in Lakes Entrance. I ordered local gummy shark. Expecting a wonderful lunch. I was bitterly disappointed. I did not receive what I had expected. I complained nicely, and was told that I was givin local gummy shark. I can say that I totally disagree. There was no was it was gummy shark. Will never order so called local gummy shark again at this venue. People are getting ripped off.

My visit was to have lunch based on what was advertised on the radio, however the Bistro was closed. But we were warmly greeted at the front counter and informed of the lunch specials available from the Cafe. The selection was good and prices cheap. The food was delicious, everything was clean and the staff very friendly. Worth a stop and a meal if you are looking for good service and good food.

Pretty good actually. Staff all very friendly and welcoming. I had the scollop/chorizo risotto which I really enjoyed. My partner had the 1/2serv of chicken Parma which was also enjoyed. Well worth a visit when next in Lakes.

Very busy on Anzac Saturday We just dropped in on way to Melb from Sydney for dinner but guy on front desk found us a table, the food & service were amazing considing the crowds. 100%+ to Front & kitchen staff.

Food and service were good. We dined twice during our week visit. However, my review is based on the amazing service from Troy. Friendly demeanour, efficiency and attention to detail. Thankyou Troy!
