Lake Wendouree Adventure playground reviews
57Great place for the kids to work off some energy. Close to the lake so keep an eye on littlies as there is no fencing at Lakeside.
Timber playground for toddlers up to older kids, right on the lake and across the road from the botanical gardens. Pipers by the Lake is a short walk away, where the coffee and food is delicious.
Not fenced.
Awesome playground! My 2 year old loved exploring all the little spots. Lots of swings and slides with great climbing areas. Spring is a great time to see the swans and the new babies! Also a great walking/bike path around the lake.
Excellent play ground, my little one loved the place. The walk next to the lake is wonderful - and the ducks are just gorgeous. Great fun overall.
A fantastic playground set in a lovely location, and made of wood! The only gripe I have is that it needs a little more shade as some of the equipment can get rather hot in the middle of the day.
Great place for children to play safe equipment and friendly environment with a fantastic lake, well worth a visit.
Great playground with different types of slides, swings, climbing frame, ride on and monkey bars. Picnic benches, barbecue, toilets are also available. There is a free tram museum opposite to the playground. There was a free tram ride due to the festival. Heard there was a a botanical garden close by, but we didn't visit as we were late. You can walk around the lake and enjoy watching the black swans. Do take jackets as it gets pretty cold.
We love this playground. The kids always have a great time and even a a parent I often get to climb and slide a bit as well. Excellent place for hide and seek!
A great area for a picnic and potentially a paddle. Amenities are in good condition and there is plenty of shade
I have taken the grandkids there on many occasions and they never cease to have endless fun every time. A fantastically constructed wonderland for littlies.
Nice kids play area and open space for picnic as well as Botanical Garden is just stone throw away.
Lovely place for a family meet up and picnic. Playgrounds are great for the children. Lots of picnic tables around the play equipment sites. Toilet facilities nice and clean plus the best icecream for miles around from the kiosk sold by lovely people.
Next to Botanical garden and is great venue with lots to do for free. Families definitely perfect for.
Great atmosphere with a breathtaking lake full of swans. Great place to take children as the playground has a lot of active equipment such as swings, poles, monkey bars and balancing/walking ropes. Also has imaginative equipment trains/swan boat for the more creative children. Lots of places to have a picnic and the area is well maintained. If you want a great park with a relaxing spot for yourself whilst your children get rid of excess energy, look no further!
Very good place & Australian Govt they provide best clean lake for there people & good arrangement to make BBQ over there its amazing Gas cooker ready with every thing.
Very good except its hard to keep track of ones grandchild in its maze like structure. Very brown.
Good to walk around the lake and have a BBQ can be windy but on a summer's day a good place to visit.
