The lakeside views are almost as good as the sparkling Duriff which accompanied the winemakers platter. Great food, great service and entertaining wine tasting.

A quick stop at Lake Moodemere Estate gave us another tasting experience of local wines. Their wines are excellent and dominent flavour fruit driven, and the sparkling Durif was sensational. With a bottle, purchased, and comfy chairs overlooking the lake was a great way to pass an hour under the trees surounding the winery. The next visit will be for lunch.

This was our second visit to this gorgeous family Estate near Rutherglen. We didn’t have a booking as we were just passing through the area but were warmly welcomed and promptly seated on a cosy table near the open fire.
The hospitality, food and wine were all first class - we chose the $65 per person 2 course menu and shared an entree, the mains and a dessert accompanied by a couple of glasses of the Old Vine Hazard Shiraz (perfection in a glass!).

The Chambers family members were gathered for Sunday lunch but still took the time to chat with us to enhance our experience. Dining in what was formerly the family home is like being embraced in a warm hug of the generational history of these passionate farmers and winemakers. Salute’

Beautiful location with a lovely garden and a interesting chat with the winemaker about the sustainability of their vineyard.

The food was EXCELLENT. The staff were knowledgeable, friendly & very accommodating. We (contrary to another review) loved the slow eating. It gave us time to talk, unwind and truly appreciate each exquisite course matched with perfect wine in a dreamy environment. The food portions were generous unlike many places these days.

Nice food, nice environment, average service, way overpriced, bringing a NORMAL size meal on ONE plate for 4 ppl is not right!
One piece of pastry for 4 ppl?
This is not fine dining but it costs as such.

Beautiful wines, location, hospitality and some of the best food we have eaten…ever! Their chef is amazing and we love their commitment to sustainability. What an absolute treat - if you have the chance, stop for a tasting and lunch. The best!

Can't fault the food itself as it was delicious however the service was a bit slow.
We were first booking of the day and it took over 2 hours to get through a 6 course meal, even after asking the staff to bring several courses at the same time as we had our 4 yr old with us. We also saw other diners looking a bit bored waiting for next courses to come.

Beautiful, peaceful setting along the Murray River, friendly and informative staff and wonderful food, along with friendly and great service. We selected via a QR code, items from the menu for a grazing platter and it was all delicious. We started our lazy Sunday afternoon with some wine tasting, presented by Michael the owner and winemaker.
Highly recommended establishment.

Beautiful setting, lovely staff and delicious food. It is also a sustainable vineyard with most produce having zero food miles. Definitely worth a visit!
