Lake Inn Ballarat

Great hotel / motel in very good location. Rooms are neat and tidy and experience was very pleasant. Thanks for hosting us. Would definitely stay again

The only fault I could find was TV remotes. I stayed in two rooms in a 9 day stay and in both rooms the remotes did not work. The batteries were replaced in both they still didn’t work. As I don’t channel swap I didn’t find it that inconvenient but others might. In all other respect everything else was excellent.

The rooms are spacious and have all the basic amenities you need.

I found the bed hard and uncomfortable.

The office chair is broken and made doing work uncomfortable.

I stayed here a few years ago and really enjoyed the experience. This time not so much.

The Lake Inn Ballarat was perfectly located for our weekend away. Room was of a very generous size, clean and comfortable. We did not have a car but found everything we needed close enough to walk. Staff very friendly and accommodating.

Great rooms, very comfortable beds, bathrooms are excellent and our stay was made better by the amazing reception experience. Having to stay near St. John of God hospital to have an op this was the perfect place, approx 500 metres away. Bonus was calling direct and receiving a hospital discount on our rate. Would highly recommend

Lovely comfortable and spacious room. I was extremely disappointed though that there was not an available car park to park my car inside the motel, I had to park outside on the street.

Quiet spot, very clean room, easy to book, check in and park. Service was kind, other guests were pretty quiet.

The spa was lovely, although quite loud - would also be super nice to have a lower light in the bathroom for the spa - we ended up taking the lamp from the bedroom in as the bathroom light was too bright for sitting in the spa. Would LOVE a non-dairy milk option in the fridge and another chilled water.

A spacious room, clean bathroom and a great location close to the lake. Loved our stay there.

The room had plenty of room, the bed was pretty good, I enjoyed my sleep, there's a pub very close, the meals are excellent, I'm coming back next time.

Large room, excellent service, good Wi-Fi, close to Lake Wendoree for a nice morning walk. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent hotel room. Lots of space and cleanliness. Unfortunately sleeping was an issue, having guests upstairs stomp around and the hotel/pub right next door with drunk people almost directly in front of our window making noise until well past 11pm.
Such a shame considering a great hotel!

Fabulous location, room was clean and a great size. Hotel across car park for take away/dine in. Really good meal for reasonable price. Will def stay here again.

The rooms are of a better size than what you would normally find in a motel room. Being so close to Lake Wendouree and the Botanical gardens gives the visitor so much to do. Great food right next door and lots of choices for coffee. Will be back. Sue and Marcus

Spacious room and large bathroom- a quick drive to the attractions and a great pub next door with lovely meals. We’ll be back to stay next time we are in Ballarat.

Very large clean room conformable bed and an outside power outlet to recharge the EV over night. Will stay again.

Great place stayed afew times. Always stay there when big events on the lake great for the ones who.will walk as quicker than a taxi

Crisp, clean bed sheets, fluffy, white towels in the bathroom and a generous array of coffee and tea! A wonderful stay. Very welcoming. Highly recommend

Fabulous place for a short break in beautiful Ballarat. No other motel can boast a location this close to lake Wendouree. The two bedroom apartment is huge and well equipped for self catering if you don’t want to take advantage of all the wonderful cafes and restaurants close by. The apartment was super clean and comfortable. The staff we encountered friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended.

I was part of a group so did not meet staff. The motel was very comfortable and met our family needs perfectly. This was a very good base for a visit to Ballarat with our father, Pierre.
