Lake bolac is conveniently located along Glenelg highway and mortlake-ararat road. It is a good place for fishing, boating, walk or just relaxing by beautiful view and birds sounds. There is a camp site between lake and golf club. Overall a nice and peaceful place to relax.

Not surprisingly there is a lake with some basic picnic facilities. We didn’t see any festival, neither did we see any eels.thankfully. Probably a great place if you’re an angler or have a car full of kids needing space to run around after a long car journey.
